Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [12 - 16th January 2013]

Not Mike Dean's fault. He played it by the book which is what he should, otherwise he'd be getting criticised for not doing. Unfortunately it has ruined what should have ended up being a really exciting game. I'm now minded to turn off and do something else. The idea of watching City pass around the defence and around the half way line isn't my idea of fun.

Fair result in the liverpool game. We didn't turn up until the 2nd half and so far Danny boy could be a good signning. Allen needed subbing and good to see borini back. I saw glimpse of suarez and Sturridge actually being good together, something to considered. Oh sterling had a rather quiet game, again.

Kagawa a good part of the goal?

BBC saying cruicial but cant comment myself until MOTD

RvP could have had a hatrick , not to mention the other chances.

I have a horrid feeling Utd are going to regret those missed chances

******

goal back

Sturridge of all people

(edit - well done De Gea)

midfield at fault too - fair call, but I still dont think De Gea should be pushing the ball in that direction

Am I the only one spotting a problem here?

EDIT: Good first half performance could and probably should have been out of sight, second half was about as well as I can ever remember Liverpool playing at OT (including the 1-4). Thankful for the 3 points though especially with Arsenal playing against 12 men :p

If should have means, on chances created, united were out of sight in the first half so so would still of been beaten.

Correct, I said you should've been at least 4-0 up in first half if you had checked my earlier posts, but you weren't, we should have taken advantage of the situation and snatched at least a draw, we didn't. You deserved to win.

Thats a guess reply at whatever it is you are trying to say lol
