Oh I see. I thought that the way we were trying to build a team around him and pay 90 million for him we'd be expecting a great player, otherwise we have over spent on someone that we didn't need right now.

He's also playing in a midfield 2 which is just ridiculous. If you pay £89 million for someone play him in his best position.....

You paid that much money for Marketability, potential and age. He's not close to an £89 million player and may never be.
He has a good attitude and bags of talent so chances are he is going to come good. How good? Only time will tell.
KFB didn't look great for a lot of last season, now look at him....(and KDB had EPL experience with Chelsea don't forget)

We could have just bought another Korean or Japanese player for the marketing capability.
We need game winners though. He's just overrated and doesn't have a defined position that he is great at. Like I said he's not a number 6 or a number 10. Doesn't have great pace on the ball, great shooting, or tackling. He's a luxury player you need a team of other players around him to enable him to be effective.

He's definitely not a luxury player and far from it. He's not suited to a midfield 2 and a holding role because he's not going to move the ball around like Toni Kroos.
He will play a 1-2 with another play and make a run with the ball creating space for team mates.
He is able to dribble around 2 or 3 players in close proximity to him because he has very good control and a burst of pace.
He's a box to box player more suited to the attacking side rather than the defending side.
Problem is he's playing out of position and in the wrong setup so all the good things he can do further up the pitch he's not really able to.
