My issue is and you can check, in the transfer thread I said he was not what we needed. Not defensive or offensive enough. Over priced etc, and I got rail roaded by a ton of fans telling me how wrong I was and how awesome he was.

Yet,,, I am failing to see it at this moment. And in this thread people are still cooing about him and how he is just mis understood. I don't believe it.

He is a good player but he just doesn't fit in this team. And wasn't what e needed to spend 90 million on.

But he may be great soon enough, it's unfair to write him off after 4 or 5 games when the entire team look disjointed. That's all there is to it.

Maybe a good impact sub / plan B

It's not hard to see why there's no balance with no proper CM on the pitch..
 
I think Man Utd needed to sign Pogba just to show they could. They were in real danger of becoming a tier 2 club who signed the top clubs' cast offs like di Maria and Schweinsteiger. Getting Pogba was important to show that they are still a top destination and I think it will pay dividends when they try and sign players in the future.
 
It's early season but if we continue like this then Mourinho better start revising his win the league target this season.
 
Amazing what a few wins can do in the table for you. Watford up to 9th after a poor start. They've looked alright today. 3-4-1-2 is classic formation tbf

By that philosophy Bale should be a good DM also - I bet no-one would be idiotic to try however (or considering he was a defender first, maybe even a Centre half)
