I think the problem there is that Henry meant to do it, Anderson just stood on the ball and luckily it went to a team mate.
 
I thought Friedal played good last night, saved Spurs what could have been a very embaressing scoreline.

I slated him when he was playing really badly. You're building him up as some superstar after he's had a half decent game.

Let him do it for a full season first. He hasn't yet.
 
wait, i was bigging him up some time ago - hence i said that was back last season in march.

You said he trod on the ball, im making a case for repeated no look passes! Plus his ability to move a direction other than sideways or backwards with the ball, which has been a long standing criticism of carrick by myself...
 
That wasn't entirely serious. You can tell he meant it, it was completely obvious what he was about to do by his face.

Just because you were bigging him up some time ago (when he was poor) and he was better than Carrick doesn't make him good :)
 
Deep down you know he's good. And one day he'll show it and out of nowhere, sneijder is needed no longer. Anderson has been crimped by injury and lack of game time by fergie - plus his own party animalistic party life i think.

Most of my mates cant stand him, was watching the game last night with a couple, and i had to keep pointing out all the good and they just couldnt see it. then he scored and i thought they were ready to go home lol.

Oh come on, don't try to put Anderson on a level with Clayton. Different class. And he came from the proper Manc team.
 
Well cleverly is getting more game time as is anderson both offer creativity and energy. i just dont think its prudent to blow 30+ million on Wesley.

bank it and put it into a new keeper fund. and to think people laughed when i threw friedel out as an alternative. the guardian even leverages the headline: friedel outshines De Gea, which despite conceding 3 goals must be some feat?
