If the North spent all that time telling everyone how much better they are than London on something vaguely productive, they might actually stand a chance.
I kid, of course. They don't really.
The north is better, you just dont know it.

Good game tonight, glad to be back in OT. DHL gave everyone a free scarf with CHAMP19NS, which was nice. Our young defence is coming a long nicely. Even evans played well tonight, but reminded us of his old self with the yellow and constant holding on as if he's going to fall over if he doesn't hold onto a player.
Anderson looked fitter but his last second decision on the ball is still questionable.
Welbeck hasn't really been involved enough for me, but I understand its been 3 games, doesn't look as strong or have enough ball control, perhaps time will change that. Shame Berb didn't come on, our top goalscorer can't get a start?!?! :/
I don't understand this post, you moan about the goal scorer, who also got an asisst and then another player who got a goal?
Are you suggesting that if a player scores a goal or gets an assist he cannot be criticised?
I think I'm the only one not expecting an easy win against Arsenal.
Pretty much, a LOT will depend on Wilshire being back to be honest, he's not so good that he can take on Utd himself, but he's the missing link that can release RVP to stay upfront and get on the end of great passing, he's strong at winning the ball back(which will make one person in midfield) and he can keep posession well. The team simply doesn't work at all without a Wilshire/Cesc type player in central midfield, I've said before, preseason we often played 45mins with Wilshire, and 45mins with Nasri in the same role, it was night and day, like two entirely different teams. Wilshire's 45mins mostly had us scoring or in the lead while Nasri's often had us conceding and looking like turd.
IF Wilshire still isn't back, I think it will take a miracle to win, actually, I think it will take a miracle to not lose by a bigger margin than Spurs did.

Nope it's going to be a tough game, tougher than tonight that's for sure
I hope we learnt from last season that despite how well we may be playing using 4-4-2 when it comes to Arsenal 4-3-3/4-5-1 is a must, it's tried and tested against them
looked pretty dodge all night last night..
People keep saying to give de gea more time. and this is possible, that after a lot of time he might come good.
But judging off 3 games now where he has made mistakes in all 3 and looked pretty dodge all night last night. from trying to pull off a turn on his 6 yard line (if their striker gets a trailing foot to that there's only one place the ball likely to end up. he fumbled a cross, didn't get behind another i think conceding a corner then parried a shot right back to near the penalty spot.. there cones a point when you have to accept that he isn't ready yet.
against a top side at 0-0 he could just throw it all away. its just too risky - it doesn't matter what league your in or how good your kicking is, if you can't do the basics right.
apparently i was watching a different match.
Ye you must have been, he had maybe 5 things to do all game (plus catching practice from vdv long rangers) and out of those 5 things he made 3:mistakes which in a tight match could easily have cost us...
Sorry but he just didnt inspire confidence.

Fashionable to criticise him already it seems.
