Shock horror, Liverpool fans rate their own players, nonsense factory rates no one.
Prior to the red card - that incident was probably the first moment of trouble - we didn't have too many problems and our general play was pretty good. There were always going to be occasions where we'd give the ball away when trying to pass our way out of the back but we never got into any real trouble. With the sending off and then going to a 4-2-3, trying to chase the game, we were wide open and there for the taking.

It was a freaking classy finish for the second goal, the first was about 85% Green, but the defending is so freaking hilarious. There aren't many keepers, when the other guys are playing with confidence that would save most of the 5 coming up. Defence sold him out so insanely badly.
I do like Michu, the just pure class/ease/relaxed way he curled that last one in reminded me of Pires so much.... I miss having a player who could do that every other game.
I wrote off Swansea, I had QPR and a draw on my acca this morning, but they have not changed one bit in terms of quality possession and clinical finishing. I think my FPL team's going to get some bargain subs to bolster some decent marquee players!

Yeh, got to say like a lot of Newcastle fans when he first arrived, after the dismissal of Hughton (which seemed harsh at the time) I wasn't too happy, not at Pardew but the whole way it seemed to of happened.
But Pardew has done well at other clubs but he really is doing wonders for us. The last 2 years has seen such a turn around in what we do. Stability more than anything and obviously they have brought all the right people in.
Going to be a hard season, with all the games we will play. But looks like we are going to give it another crack
