Yes, tonight we looked completely mediocre. Kagawa and Cleverley were really the only two outfield players that stood out tonight (Vidic wasn't bad, a bit hard to tell with the players around him) everyone else was well below par.

Maybe because he didn't play any pre-season? I don't know if that's 100% true but I don't think he played any Arsenal.
The season is one game old and you're already clutching at straws.
Not at all, we'll be okay overall but it would be nice to have another midfielder (as people have been saying for years now).
De Gea, Vidic and Kagawa were all very good tonight. Cleverley seemed reasonably okay. Rooney just looks completely off.
Alarmingly, we seem to constantly have the ball out wide and that's just not good enough, we don't have/use a target man and can't seem to work it into the box.
He played 21 minutes pre-season for Arsenal, so that's why.

I wonder how much you could have got him in the summer? Anything over £15m would have been good business imo.
I don't know, on form he's one of the best. Unfortunately he has quite a few games like today where he doesn't do much.
