Congratulations to Manchester United.

The most consistent, lethal and most deserving winner of the title this year.

Not quite as good as our win but still. Congrats.
We will back next season!

In what way, was it not quite as good? In that you scraped by on goal difference in the 94th minute?

United grinded out lots of there results and played this whole season without pressure off other teams competing for the title.

it makes life a bit more easier knowing you are over 10+ clear at the start of this calendar year.

Stop talking rubbish, we have scored plenty of goals this season and thats without RVP so its not all bad. As for winning a cup?? seriously even when we had RVP we couldnt win a cup...what makes you think that having RVP would have won us a cup??. Thats one of the major reasons he left for gods sake.

But carry on with your rambling about RVP and how we could have won a trophy had he stayed.

.

Ok then so sack wenger then? clearly it is not the players responsible for not winning stuff?

who then? we at one point not only had rvp, but we had nasri, clichy, fabregas, an in form adebayor etc yet what did we win back then?

Are you one of those gunner fans who see no fault with Wenger?

I can sort it for you Danny boy ;)

:D

Anyway, I think this is possibly Fergies best title. Despite the teams Chelsea and City have, despite United Ocuk wing saying he's lost it and the players are all naff he has won another title at an absolute canter.

Despite the team having so many past it or never had it players, just perhaps Fergie does actually know more than you :p

For me this year puts it beyond doubt that he's the best manager this country has ever seen. Hopefully next year will atleast be a bit closer :(

I agree but I don't think that anyone could say with any shred of honesty that City or Chelsea have performed to their ability this season. Both have arguably got stronger 1st XI's but over the course of a season fergie is the master of getting the most out of whatever team he puts out.

So many players for United this season have had awesome spells just when they needed it.

I disagree with that part.

I don't see how you can argue that a gap of double figures at the top is "not as good" as scraping it on goal difference in the last game of the season. It's less exciting/nerve wracking, but winning by a huge points margin is certainly taking the title in style and shows how much united have dominated this season. Whether that dominance is a good thing or not, or interesting for the neutrals to watch is another debate.

LOL am i one of those gunner fans that doesnt see any fault with Wenger??..when have i said that its not Wengers fault but the players fault??.

For the record the only person to blame for our lack of trophies is ACTUALLY Wenger as he systematically sold all our best players and replaced them with absolute rubbish. Had he replaced them with players of the same caliber as say Viera, Henry, Fabregas and RVP then im pretty sure we would have won a few trophies by now. But then im not so sure as Wenger has shown in the past few yrs that hes tactically inept at times. But considering we have lost some brilliant players, we still have managed to qualify for CL every single season hes been in charge...cant say that about Spurs can you?? and the chances of them getting CL football next season are pretty slim compared to our chances.

As for Biz saying this title win isnt anywhere as good as when they won it last season??...thats some serious delusion there...id rather win a title by being a few points ahead rather than winning it on goal difference ;) and even then it wasnt until the last day of the season compared to this season where Utd have won it with about 5 games remaining. City were very lucky to win it last season due to some inconsistency on part of Utd otherwise this yr would have been Utd 21st title win.

Definitely agree with this, only thing I can add is that with their dominance I was delighted that Spurs managed to take 4 points of them this year. I can't see that happening again soon unless something drastic happens with the squad.

People measure how good a win is by excitement a lot these days, I mean winning with the last kick of the season would be epic and possibly the most dramatic way to win it and definitely the best feeling when that goal goes in. Then again youd rather the title won 10 games beforehand if possible.

Both are good/great title wins in their own way, I don't think one can top the other really

At least we still have some excitement at the bottom end of the table to look forward to this season :)

It was agreed that G|mp could come back at the expense of 10 Utd fans. Those 10 haven't been decided yet but I've heard that you're on the hit list Robbo :p
