Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [19th - 24th September 2015]

See this is a really annoying point of view, saying Costa successfully wound up Gabriel to get him sent off when in fact he pushed and elbowed someone in the face to start it all off and just didn't get caught. That's not good. That's not clever. He risked everything with no intention of winding anyone up and was just extremely lucky.

Which is why Chelsea fans are the worst and most pathetic in the league.

You have to laugh at all the hatred, bile and vile aimed at everything Chelsea by those who think they are morally superior by throwing hatred, bile and vile at everything Chelsea.
Where is the love?

Henderson's out of our game tomorrow. In his first training session back after missing the last few weeks with a heel injury, he breaks his other foot :/

Big loss. To think Rodgers was happy to swap him for Dempsey when he first arrived, become a key player for us in midfield now.

So, since pardew left the replacements have been less than stellar, weren't the Newcastle faithful blaming all their woes on him?

Yeah, good point. Not sure why they didn't get behind him to be perfectly honest, after all they did finish 5th. Most deluded fanbase in the league excepting anything better than relegation scraps.

Sanchez's form is abysmal, with all the crap I'd somewhat forgotten but the only thing Ozil did all day was flash a cross in that Sanchez manage to completely miss which last year he'd have buried. As that ball over the top that Cahill then Zouma utterly screwed up what 4 yards from goal, blast it in and he missed it again.

He's been absolutely terrible this season and could have scored two during a generally terrible game for Arsenal all around. Walcott's pathetic 'henry' style shot from wide, far away that was the tamest ruddy pass. You can do that shot, not from there, not without power. Stupid fouls by Cazorla, Gabriel absolutely ridiculous and frankly Kos frankly ridiculous, you can't allow an opposition player to scratch your face with both hands, then throw an arm out at him again and not run to the ref and have him at least listen to you and ask the linesman if he saw.

Cazorla was the captain yet did nothing to calm Gabriel down, no one, no one pulled him away from Costa right after the yellow card, all around ridiculous.

Murphy, what an idiot, Costa just had his arms up and didn't know where Kos was... this is why I hate Murphy. Two hands directly on his face then dragged them down, he was just trying to see where he was... are you ******* kidding me.

Oh it is hilarious, almost a good as Pat 'Special one's *****, the Chelsea Cheerleader' Nevin excusing literally anything Chelsea do.

Love listening to Slaven Bilić talk about his teams performance. He's so open and honest, sounds like a really level-headed guy. I'm indifferent about W.Ham but I hope he does well.

That Newcastle lad sounded more like an end of season, on the verge of relegation, type of interview. A beaten man already!

Nope, all the ire up here is aimed at Ashley's profit machine, only briefly interrupted for Carver's ineptitude, but then Ashley for choosing him. There was some hope with the investment over the summer and bringing in another manager, but it's same old individual errors and the continued lack of passion, and that's why the fans are frustrated.

I'm not a Newcastle fan (though occasionally go to the matches) but it's quite sorry up here at the moment with Newcastle and Sunderland both being so pathetic. In fact the only thing for the fans is that the other team is also doing badly. I think the next nearest Premier League team would be in Manchester, so there's sod all for the area to cheer on football wise.
