Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 24th April 2012]

No it isn't.

Of course it is, they tend to do well against us when we are home, so they could easily be on the same points again coming into the match, and it'll be the match before the FA Cup final.

Liverpool got a ****e home record, does Dalgish rest players a head of the final and risk falling down to like possibly 10th in the table with 2 games remaining with one of those against Chelsea.

Are you saying it is a big match for Everton or Liverpool? It certainly isn't for us, our league position isn't salvageable to where we want it to be so really not that arsed, the FA Cup is our only big game left, and obviously Chelsea again three days later.

Macarthy wasn't great but a shambolic decision to get rid of Mick for that Ming they brought in. Mickey mouse team and a shame they punched 2pts off us.

Feel sorry for the fans but the players, manager and board should all hang heir heads in shame.

What we got was a quieter Mcarthy to be honest
We deserve to go down, everything this years has been pathetic, transfer window, sacking mick, the managerial hunt, connor as replacement, not going ahead with phase 2 of the Molineux redevelopment, pathetic really. Real lack of ambition has been shown
Mick shouldve gone sooner, a new manager in Dec, a transfer budget for the Jan transfer window and we might of stayed up, but nope

Do you mean the first part or was that heat of the moment?
Probably, although it might've been fairer to say worst midfield because our defense, with Lucas in front of them and Reina behind, is rock solid. Don't think it's any coincidence that our results have dropped off so sharply since Lucas was injured.

We finished 8th in 93/94 but I'd love to have the midfield and attack we had back then. They were let down by the players behind them just as our defence today is let down by the players in front of them.

This confuses me:

'It was taken quickly and that's why they were so hopelessly outnumbered'

given:

There were 6 Wolves players vs 4 City players.

what's so confusing? they were wolves players and therefore awful

terry conor, i feel sorry for the bloke but there's no way on earth he is fit for management and he's awful in interviews.

Just got back, seems we're choking hard :( Were we as bad as the scoreline suggests?

Defensively, yes.Everton played well, but we played some nice stuff in the 2nd half. Welbeck was excellent, Nani looked quite sharp and the front two partnership looked good. So some positives. But Valencia looked a bit tired and Rafael didn't have a great game, so I'm sure he will be immediately dropped as usual.
Imo, we should have been looking to give Smalling more game time recently, to get him match fit. Evans has improved but there remains one or two weaknesses in his game which Smalling doesn't have.

It's games like today which highlights what we miss when Vidic isn't there, for all the individual errors for each of the goals against today Vidic would have loved that battle with Fellaini. Just hope that today's defensive errors give them all a kick up the arse they need ahead of Monday

Had to smirk at the Liverpool game all those chances and WBA score with a shot right down the centre of goal :D

Woy > Dalglish

Woy > Dalglish

You must smirk at most of our games then :p

Also taking it that last bit is a joke :D

Why is there so much hate towards Kenny? I wont call him King because that's ridiculous :p

I mean, he can only do so much. Just like any Chelsea manager. If the players aren't performing, it's always the manager who gets the flak.

The liverpool players are not worth their wages at the moment, they need a big big clearout in the summer.
