Not as a CM against a physical team like Sunderland imo , Kagawa is usually pretty invisible in CM position- he only improves when he is much more advanced (centrally)

Because Cleverley is amazing against physical teams and is such a presence in CM.

It's not as if Cleverley is exaclty a physical force himself though. He's also about 5'8, weak and can't tackle.

and you are just being stubborn - if you had EVER watched Kagawa in a CM position you know he NEVER gets into the game in that position and it completely passes him by.

So it makes little difference

Why do we keep trying to pass it from one wing back to another ? They are like our worst players.
