It's also supposed to be a game where you can't just obstruct and foul your opponent and think if he doesn't fall over you're ok. The refereeing is ridiculous. If somebody is fouled, blow up, don't wait for them to fall over. That would stop all but the most blatant diving, as players would no longer feel forced to go down
Fight through it don't just fall down. They're men, not little kids.

Why fight through? The rules dictate it’s a foul so you don’t have to?

Some of you chaps need to actually read the rules (doesn’t say ‘play on - it’s a mans game’ btw)

Alright. Messi has exceptional balance. He gets hacked, somehow stays on his feet, but misses the chance as his balance has been affected and there's no goal. In the same situation, Lukaku gets hacked and falls over as his balance is abysmal. He gets a penalty and his team score.

How is that fair?

Because it's supposed to be a man's game? Nowadays footballers are just pansies who fall over at the slightest touch (or non-touch). It's pathetic.
As soon as refs start awarding fouls when a player stays on his feet then I'd have no problem sharing your view. They don't though and forwards have a choice of 'being a man' and penalising themselves or going down and getting the foul they deserve.

Do you think VAR will boost players honesty when it comes in?
It's not about VAR or honesty - it's about players being given free kicks without having to go down to get them. At the moment, if a player stays on his feet he's given nothing, no matter how badly he's fouled. Refs need to start giving free kicks without players feeling like they have to go down to get them

He's not good enough either.

People can talk Hazard up all they want...last week he scored his first goal in 13 games....he isn't that level.

Get away, when will people look beyond stats, it's ridiculous. If you can't see what he offers beyond goals then you don't know football. He's scored 10 goals in the PL and playing in a positon he doesn't like, not a bad return really.

Also, not good enough for RM when they have the likes of V Junior, Vasquez, Benzema, Asensio playing? lol, he'd be one of their best.
