To be fair we almost conceded a 2nd immediately after we conceded to Swansea so it's not all Gerrard. It's his partnership with Lucas that's the biggest problem.
 
Lampard is god damned magic, I don't blame Chelsea letting him go, Lampard has said how a new challenge has made him step up his game. While I think he'd have done well at Chelsea even in a similar sub/back up role I think he wouldn't have been as good. I've always liked him, ridiculously good. Scoring record is phenomenal, extremely professional player, not nasty, doesn't get into trouble on or off the pitch, not dirty.

Bit silly that only City were smart enough to get him on loan and that the MLS was the only serious team in for him.

umm we are playing our full strength backline and the reason why we are losing is because of them!

fair enough if we are unable to create much chances(we have actually) or get dominated in midfield(we havn't) due to lots of midfielders and attacking players injured but fact is we have not.

we have maytches southampton in midfield and we have created enough chances this whole game to score a couple of goals.

we are losing simply because our strongest baclkline has failed us big time. not lack of midfield and attacking injuries
