One of Walcott's goals against Newcastle

And his celebration
walcottcelebration.gif

It was a dive, he wasn't knocked over. His leg just stopped moving mid stride and his other one collapsed. Contact does not equal a foul just because it's contact. It has to be meaningful contact or there would be fouls every time someone brushes past someone else. If he had carried on he would have been through on goal anyway, he's a diver, end of.

I don't really know what happens in that clip. Majority of the time when a player's leg is clipped it gets in the way of the other leg causing a trip but Bale looks like he drags his foot on the floor to cause a fall.

Right.

Where is DM.

he is the number one guy who would **** off Walcott.

What has he said about Walcott's performance?

let me guess:

Sorry, but Walcott was average at best. Yes he scored a hattrick but against a diabolocal defence that any Premier league striker would have easily banged a hattrick. Nothing impressive to justify his 100k demand.

So if Walcott really does want to go this will only have increased his price I think. Should Wenger sell? or does he keep him and tell him he will be striker at the club if he stays? Does Walcott wait until the end of the season to see if Wenger lives up to such a promise?

I think he should stay at Arsenal if they promise to play him in a striking role and he should try to get that written in his contract somehow. As a Spurs fan it pains me to say, but he does seem suited to the role with his pace.

Walcott is not the full deal yet. he has a lot to learn if he wants to become world class.

if he goes now, he will end up like saun wright philips. an average player with huge potential.

Wenger is second to none in developing a players career and ability and if walcott had teh brain, he would take the 70-80k hand in hand now. continue his development and i guarantee u, if he does he can become a world class player and then u will see arsenal offering him 150k+ easily for his next contract.

no way does he deserve 100k now. wilshere is not even that and he is a better player. Walcott needs to be patient.

He needs to ask himself this.

does he want money or does he want to become a world beater?

You cant have both. What other manager could turn walcott into a world beater? fergie? manchini? rafa? And what team would give him good amount of play time in the middle where he wants to play?

in city he will barely make it in the bench

at united, chico , rvp and rooney are ahead of walcott at present and at chelsea, RA would not wanna drop Torres for walcott.

In barca or RM he has no chance even at the bench so he can forget about that pipe dream move of his there.

Maybe he can go to Italy? play for AC, inter or Juv?

Or germany? woudl Dortmound take him? Fact is, not many if any top clubs would take him at present and help him develop his career.

At Arsenal he can flourish. he will get game time because our squad is not full of world class players and u have a great mentor Wenger who is great and creating gems.

Its up to him really.

Money or career.

edit: can u realy blame arsenal for saying no to his demands when Adebayor was in teh same situation, got his nice phat payrise and then plays like rubbish and demands a move.

Adebayor plays great for one season and wants world class player salary and walcott plays good for half a season and demanding the same

He's got Arsenal over a barrel, he's producing performances and they have to hang onto him now or the fans will be irate.

There are plenty of teams that could use him and will happily pay him what he wants, or even a bit less if they're a better team than Arsenal - there are quite a few.

Just watched the highlights of the Arsenal game and have to say Girouds first goal was sublime, flying header FTW and Walcotts 3rd goal, how he went down then got promptly back up to fire in a goal and not stay or appeal for a penalty was pretty damn good.

I know hes playing out of his skin as his contract is up for renewal, yes im being a tad pessimistic but im just worried that IF we give him £100k a week then will he still play out of skin ie give 110% every single game. Anyhow i think playing him through the middle is probably his best position, hes wasted on the wings as far as im concerned.

Only minus points for me of the game was again our frankly and utterly diabolical defending, Sagna was the worst culprit and same with Gibbs. I have a feeling that because we arent giving Sagna what he wants ie a new contract hes playing like utter turd.

Anyhow as for the City and Norwich game, just saw Nasri's dismissal and i dont blame him for wanting to headbutt Bassong...what a dirty tackle that was but in hindsight Nasri should have kept his cool. The ref in that game was absolutely diabolical, one push he missed was Garrido and also his backpass as well...plus again Bassong brought Aguero down in the box but was waved off....utterly retarded ref. Glad City won due to the amount of crap Norwich were getting away with.

Demba Ba's free kick against Arsenal

LOL Wenger seems to always have an issue with his coats/jackets:p

As for Ba's free kick?? nothing special, got a nice little deflection off Wilshere though...as they say every little helps:p

That goal of his was pretty damn good, respect to him for not trying to appeal for a penalty but rather get up and just bag his hattrick. Mind you a fair bit of luck was on his side as he did slide through when he was brought down:p

Would United take him? if they do where would he play?

i have listed quite a few teams whoa re better then arsenal, city, united, barca, rm and chelsea.

the german and italian teams i do not know much about so i cant make a fair comment so he could move there but the other teams i have listed dont think they would go for him personally and offer him the money he wants and the role he wants to play ie centraly

So far Pards out (another fun week of that)

Clearly Paul Lambert out! But not till Jan 13th, so long as we can play them like this (and win) then they can do what they like!

Chelsea do probably want Falcao but at present they could comfortably fit in Walcott. Torres has been playing better recently but Walcott looks the better player at the moment overall.

United are probably the one place that can't take him, especially as we still have Nani. I want to see Nani return, he's a class apart when he's on form. SAF has said today he doesn't want to lose him so I hope that's true.

I think you know as well as I do that at least one team will try and get him if they can, Arsenal need to act fast.
