He's an excellent passer, great vision, used to be great at freekicks. He use to play almost exclusively in a Bergkamp style withdrawn striker role and before that as a winger and he was excellent at both, his WHOLE game is very very very good, a great goal scoring record is something he's picked up in the past couple years and thats from playing in a team where he has to stay upfront on his own, isolated without any support most of the time.

Just because he's playing one way in a certain formation now doesn't mean that is all he's capable of.

No one has said he isn't capable of doing those things well(or atleast I think), just not on the same level as Ronaldo/Messi. (and Messi is a fair bit further ahead of ronaldo imo.
 
Goetze and Hazard would have their pick of European clubs though and Arsenal isn't that attractive an option atm imo. Goetze, being German, will probably end up at Bayern anyway tbh, just a matter of time.

I thought that when Premiership clubs were being linked with him. Generally, if Bayern don't want a German player it's because they're not good enough.

Madrid, Bayern and Barcelona probably have the best defences around at the moment. Although Man United with Vidic and Ferdinand fit and at their best are also good contenders.

Ronaldo and Messi regularly make each other's teams defences look average, Van Persie doesn't have that same flair and ability to do that to either Barca or Madrid in the way Ronaldo and Messi do.

Two out of four maybe. Providing we get CL football next season I think there might be a squad overhaul this summer. Financially we would be pretty much sorted then. There is at least £50m of players to be sold, plus the £50m we are told is available to spend. I am being optimistic I suppose.

Good to see Everton are scoring a few. They would probably have been above Liverpool if they had kept hold of the Yak this season.

I never said they do play together regularly, I was saying at their best they formed a world class defence.. Calm down bro.

I'd take Agger+Skrtel over Puyol+Pique anyday, Reina over Valdes and Enrique if he wasn't so poor in attack. Think Dani Alves would be the only one I'd definately take and thats probably just due to his attacking threat.

And City's CB's+Hart.

I'd take Puyol over Agger or Skrtel by a long, long way. Pique, not so much.
 
Buzsaky has hit the post from 5 yards out, pretty much with 3 feet of open goal to hit! After Taarabt hit the other post 5 seconds earlier. Hilarious!
