Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [30th Mar - 2nd April 2012]

I don't. We were playing reasonably well when that happened and despite missing the penalty (does anyone think we would've realistically scored it) we would've been in a far better position to win.

I'd agree with that, you were definitely the better side until Newcastle scored their second but there was a lack of chances created for all the ball you had.

No, it was a joke which I'm sure Nokkon would understand :/

The decision making and final ball today was dreadful. We kept opening them up and getting in behind down our right hand side but wasted it time and time again.

C'mon Swansealona!

Britton for England!

I've been calling them Baaaaaaaah-celona but it hasn't caught on yet.

Yep, Gutierrez was having a shocker but Carroll offered very little presence in the box and there was zero support from midfield to give the wide players an option.

Yea, he clearly said that's a perfectly good reason for losing today

He pretty much said that, Im glad that he acknowledge the red was justified etc. I want him to come out and just say we were crap, He did that once to some degree and the players re-acted this being nice about it all clearly isnt working.

I didn't think Carroll done too bad in the first half. He led the line pretty well and caused Newcastle's defense a fair few problems; he had more than a decent shout for a pen when Williamson(sp) was all over him from a corner, the run that led to his dive and was unlucky not to score with a header.

In the second half, him and the team looked flat though.

All that happened in a very short spell though and when it didn't happen for him he just seemed to lose all confidence.

I was stunned by how long it took Dalglish to make changes in the second half, he more or less gave up the ghost at 2-0.

You shouldn't be since I'm pretty sure you watch us every week, he has been **** since the day he has been back at making good subs.
