I wasn't as impressed with him in the first season as others were but he was good in the team for sure. Last year playing frequently out wide he was all but useless, the few times he was pushed wide in the first year already made it clear he was woeful out wide, like completely useless. I thought on buying Ozil we would sell Cazorla and buy a winger, or I should say hoped we would, with Wenger buying a central attacking and putting them out wide where they weren't good is basically standard operating procedure.

This year, from preseason though to 28 mins into this game he's had about 60 mins total where he hasn't been abysmal, not a patch on his first season form, not even as good as last seasons form. Not a single performance this year has suggested he should be starting let alone be almost the first name on the team sheet as he appears to be.

Worst thing really is we could have gotten decent money for Caz when we bought Ozil, could have still got a decent fee for him in over summer, but he'll be 30(in about a week actually) and off the back off a dire season come summer, if we sell him he'll go for very little, but we'll probably be stuck with him as he becomes an awful player.
 
ffs, Arsenal, you really are crap, just crap.

About 4 Arsenal players there not looking behind them, not challenging, not matching the run just utterly ignoring him and letting him run in from a pretty big distance completely unopposed. That run should have been ridiculously easy to spot and mark by at least 3 players.
 
Movement and passing between our midfielders has been better today but the lack of movement up top is killing us. Lamppost really needs to do more even if he is our only threat in front of goal.
 
You gotta laugh at what is going on with Arsenal.
Lots of supporters seem to what Wenger out, as they are tired of aiming for 4th place every year.

They're only ever going to challenge once ever so often, haven't got the ability to buy several big players a year, buying one each of the past two has been a surprise really.

I have always been a staunch Wenger supporter - he has been great for the club, absolutely fantastic. We have some amazing records under him, he helped guide us through difficult times as we looked to fund the new stadium - but I think his time has come. He is not a spring chicken anymore, realistically even if he is winning everything he has only 3 years left in him.

I think its time for a new manager to come in - instead of giving Wenger another £100m to spend lets save that kitty for somebody else to build a team in their own vision. Its likely that Klopp will soon become available, make no mistake despite what has happened with the way Dortmund have started the season he is an awesome manager and has the strength of character and personality for follow in Wengers footsteps.

I dont want to see us sack Arsene, I want to see him step aside for the good of the club.
 
We are fast becoming a laughing stock like United.

Edit: Let me qualify that, like United were last season.
