Ironic really since he was made a social pariah in 2011 for saying global warning was an exaggerated problem.

I honestly don't think we know if climate change/global warming is an exaggerated problem or not but the problem is if it isn't we'll find out too late. There is certainly evidence of unprecedented changes in the era of modern history regardless of what is causing them and how it will all turn out.

Listen to what exactly? Angry rants about middle aged men isn't exactly a plan if she expects anyone to take her seriously she needs to have one. Random teenage temper tantrums about the older generation isn't exactly helping her cause. I get that she's frustrated but honestly thats no way to address the UN.

Speaking as one of the generation she's throwing her toys out of the pram about I'm not anti I think she's rather remarkable in what she's achieved and I'd be proud of her if she was my daughter but honestly love you've run out steam you need to do more than simply fume right now.

It's fairly logical to assume that she is a hypocrite given that she is from a very privileged background. I haven't seen any sort of proof to the contrary. I suppose she lives in a tent in the forest with no electricity, eats mushrooms from the ground and wipes her behind using leaves right?

The boat stories don't appear to be fake anyway, I'm not sure why you would say that they are? I have had a look on snopes and can't find any falsifications regarding that. I'm sure we can agree that it was a publicity stunt, as is the majority of what she is doing. I did read on snopes that there were some claims stating that she was an actress that were debunked though which I found quite funny.

She and her parents are promoting Antifa, even wearing t-shirts, a pro-globalization organization funded by Soros.

What? How is that hypocrisy and if even it was, she was at the UN... And please dont use the "but x is made of materials, therefore ARGUMENT DEAD" argument, its very sad and boring.

Such an impossible bar to climb for some apparently (what are you expecting, a naked person on the street?), ultimately it's Europe and the US that drive the economy, so why is it strange that they shouldn't be targeted the most? They have the ability to drive other regions with sanctions and trade restrictions. China only barely recently joined this economic driver club and are indeed acting considering the damage it will wreak on the Chinese coastline, far more able system of governance means they can tell their entire 1+ billion people to act a certain way and they will.

We don't live in that sort of governance, so people have to decide for themselves to stop driving the damaging fashion industries, exorbitant holidaying and what have you. We've made a huge amount of progress on electrical/energy efficiency, adding renewable energy to the energy market, LED lighting, recycling (maybe... can't really tell if things are legitimately being recycled), but little has been done to dissuade people from eating meat, driving millions of cars everyday, recycling homeware and buying less ***** in general.

Holidays need to be taxed heavily, right to repair should be enshrined in law, a tax on meat eating needs to come in, people need to be pushed away from constantly replacing perfectly working electrical devices and clothing.
