People are getting annoyed at being preached at, if you want to get a point across shouting at folk is not the best way to do it.

As i said to someone yesterday who had a pop at me on FB because i dared question how much bigger this lass's carbon footprint will be to mine.. i have already taken steps to reduce my environmental impact, its tiny compared to most.
Yet these bloody environmental nazis still think its justifiable to have a rant at folk, way to go to get folk on your side.
 
It's the height of the internet era.
You can say what you want about anything with almost zero recourse in most circumstances.

Prior to 1860s, doctors did not wash their hands before attending to patients, and the doctor that proposed medical professionals should wash their hands before handling patients was so mocked by his peers that he suffered from a nervous breakdown.
 
There is zero percent chance they are going to make a mistake like that. Don't believe the total bs you read.

Not sure why you're expecting a solution from her. Her point is to make people listen to scientists. What more can a 16 year old girl do? I think she's doing an incredible job.

l watched a sickening video today of an elephant that was hit by a train in North Bengal yesterday. Absolutely horrific injuries and it was desperately trying to drag itself off the track whilst everyone stood and watched. A railway track straight through an elephant habitat. What a great idea.

The more the human population grows and expands, the more common this sort of crap becomes. We ruin everything for everything else, and looking at the forecasted population growth over the next 100 years just makes you think nothing will ever change no matter how hard we try. Even if we do enough to fight climate change, the population growth will still ruin everything that makes this planet great.

Seen the ones of villages throwing fire bombs at them too, mother and young elephant on fire... its sickening.


The good news is mens sperm count is reducing at a heavy rate ( https://www.gq.com/story/sperm-count-zero , longish read but really worth it) so it looks like there migh be some radical depopulation soon at some point, depending on how available IVF will be for the poor I guess.
