Group of 7 on WoW looking for more rerollers

Anyone backed into a corner by insulting and slander would defend themselves if they have any sort of pride. Why you'd base that behaviour on my general mentality towards friends or people in general is beyond me, especially as you know me. I've never been rude to you, shown you any hostility and neither have my friends. But you seem to have made your mind up and fair enough. It's a shame because we live close and we're all just normal guys, we don't bitch about people or moan or give people grief unless we're forced into that situation. I thought we were just getting to know each other after you coming back from holiday, but meh.

Best of luck in whatever you decide to do.

Mmm in my mind if i know im right im right and i dont care what somebody has to say about me on the forums.

Yeah maybe i did over react with the whole delete contacts malarky , but i guess im just over cautious.

All in all its very disapointing :( as i got to know quite a few people really well for it to all go up in smoke :(

::EDIT::

Re-reading the posts from that angle i see where you are coming from.
I guess at the end of the day it shouldn't bother me as I wasn't directly affected by what happened.

SO i take back what i said

do you still have room for more members?

ta

oh dear....

Indeed. I do have some sympathy for those that came back to WoW just for this and paid to transfer.

If anyone is looking for an raiding guild that has been established for a few years now then contact me in trust (guilds been around since Vanilla), there are some requirements though but that can be discussed if anyone is actually interested.

It's not my guild, incase you are scared off from my other posts :D

Throwing this out as our GM only last week has asked me to try and bring in an additional 7 or so players.

We are Horde on PvP server Magtheridon EU. Currently progressing through 25man (3 bosses left) and 2x 10man groups going through hardmodes.

i might be in touch... although i logged on and felt a bit lost with the game as its been so long since i played. might be best to re roll.... dont know what glyphs are... or where i am supposed to be lvling.. :) or if i want to become a dk

Since my guild is a progressive guild they would only take on people with experience and current gear to that of the guild (We are not hardcore, but we want to continue progress). Unfortunately gear can block a lot of players even if they have great minds in learning an encounter so late into WotlK.

My advice - definitely re-roll, and not a dk. My rogue was in a similar situation to your toon, out of date equipment, talents all reset (with half of em new), what the hell are glyphs, how do i use poisons again (my personal favourite - riding to the warsong gulch entrance only to find theres a button to get in anywhere now) etc. I wasnt looking to get hooked again (couldnt bear the thought of the grind) but I rolled a Mage casually and im now lvl 74. The unit was the only guild i joined and until I find a chilled out one (the whole progressive / certain levels of gear / xp etc really turns me off) im concentrating on pvp. The top gear for that comes with participating in arena and bg - three purples so far for when i turn 80. PvP is going to have a lot more emphasis on it in cata as well, especially guild wise so im expecting some decent pvp clans to start.

The big difference about wow these days - theyve seriously mitigated the grind, so levelling is a whole hell of a lot more fun (and much quicker) than it used to be. The Random Dungeon Finder (from 15) can boost you through a huge amount of levels and gets you great kit and the BGs provide enough honour these days so youll always have plenty of honour for trinkets, weps and other goodies which will let you stay competitive. Basically I had to actually stop levelling so i could do some quests, especially through outland - flying mounts ***.

Ive done 70 - 74 very casually over the last week or two which is ridiculous. Anyway a new toon would definitely be my vote, with cata in mind priests are looking good, perhaps a warrior and of course mages are a whole bundle of fun. Just dont be a warlock. They eat fel poo.

thanks for tips....

spent so long lvling my 70 mage i would be sad to see him go, but it does feel like a new game now...

maybe a priest would be fun.... i am on shattered halls - horde. should i move elsewhere?

/edit what addons should i use these days?

There is an old OcUK guild on your server, although mostly non ocukers now but I believe there are around 3/5 left within the guild......

I heard the server you are on is pretty good. I would only move if you hated the server or if you had friends on another server.

I'm thinking of re-rolling on wow, means I'd have to start from lvl1 again :( (this time i will do things right)

Do you have a lot of low lvl members willing to party with me? If so I will get wow re-installed.

I need a break from eve for a while, damn skill training times are doing my head in.

this group has disbanded. seems like the all hate each other :)

We probably need a casual guild on some populated server - but Im too casual to organise one. Wouldn't be a bad idea though... Yeah this guild went **** up. I'll post some crucial addons when I get back.

Yet another OcUKish WoW guild bites the dust :)

The problem with most guilds is that officers like to stick together, instead of officers each being in control of different groups and trying to look after and organise the standard members, they all go on raids together and all the standard members are left to fight over the couple of places left or just get bored and resentment grows. I've been guilty of this in the past and been on the other side of the fence.

Another way guilds are split is there are those who have and use vent a lot and those that just use guild chat :)

Take my hat off to successful guilds, it's not easy.

WTS secret formula to guild success. 5000g or sparklez pony

You cant have my 'horse full o'stars that everyone else has'.

Good addons -

Jamies quest guides - so whilst you are questing youre not riding in circles trying to find stuff. Good if youve seen all the content previously.

Move Anything - great for rerarranging your interface, say if you want your targets caster bar to be huge so you know when theyre throwing something nasty at ya.

Bagnon - quit messing around with individual bags.

ACP - crucial for my laptop. lets you select addon profiles the reload your ui - so i have 3 different profiles - normal (questhelper/bagnon/mage nuggets etc) - PvP (just mage nuggets) and Dungeon (Recount/Omen Threat). Makes life so much easier.

Quartz - v important for maxing dps and getting those extra shots in.
