Group of 7 on WoW looking for more rerollers

Having carried a huge amount of players through SSC/TK/BT/Sunwell (all pre nerf) as an officer when raids actually took a bit of effort to put together I know exactly how you feel.

I got that very same horrible feeling when I joined The Unit, always a shame when you end up having to carry officers though, heh.

That's fascinating.

I already planned that, sorry to poo on your little common sense party there. There wasn't a viable candidate. You can ask your Skype inside friends. One of the officers did offer, but given the amount of people that were leaving I thought it best to let the name die and if something should be re-born then let it run its own course.

Yeah you planned it so you profited 22k from the guild bank more like. Plus those "scrubs" which you so politely put it are for the most part fellow forum members plus, amazingly people with feelings.

Well good luck in whatever guild you take your pompass attitude to anyway, they'll need it more than you :)

Barbarians. Well I know some people in there and they got an 'elitist attitude' as you would say is so horrible.

Either way. I wasted money on transferring to join a guild I got kicked from for knowing someone you don't like. And yea, it did all seem like a 'social and fun leveling guild' from reading this thread but it sure wasn't. I helped out on my priest healing the "bad" totc10 instead of my warrior that I was going to raid on. I gave away gems etc trying to be nice to people, helping out with whatever they needed. While your friends all got free pass to do whatever they wanted. If you actually wanted real progress (I assume since you are now leaving the guild being so 'bad' and all) most would have actually brought members who could perform well.. I'm not saying that all your friends where bad but it was quite clear from the start who the guild was made for.

You have to expect to get stick for disbanding a guild because you are leaving for another one and looking at some of the posts here you did not even explain properly to the people (who paid) to transfer trying to make your guild expand other than a 'sorry' afterwards here on the forums.

You're probably one of the worst excuses for an elitist i've ever met. Most elitists are actually good at what they do and earn the title and then flaunt it. You weren't a good player, you're not currently a good player, you barely raid

Mondego, Robbo and myself all came into your raid outperforming everyone in Naxx25/Ulduar25 gear. So talk more BS please.

Oh we're playing the 'let's throw out assumptions' game again, joy. It's amazing how you can take something that's not true, re-word it then make it into something that sounds factual. Your parents must be proud.

Oh and you did it again! Double whammy, that was two in one paragraph. But I have to clear that second one up, the scrubs were from the realm, as previously stated. Oh god isn't reading FUN.

Thanks for your good luck wishes.

And amazingly, who's decision was it to invite "scrubs" from the realm and not players from the forum then? Oh yeah, yours lol.

Think its time to shhhhhhh graham as your spade is getting damaged to do the depth of the hole you've dug for yourself

Barbarians. Well I know some people in there and they got an 'elitist attitude' as you would say is so horrible.

I didn't say I didn't like elitists, I love them if they've got the right to be. But it has to be in the right place, at the right time. I'm going hardcore to be with them, not to get away from them. But hardcore guilds are hardcore, it's the standard you expect. If you're not being told what you're doing wrong in a competitive environment then something is wrong.

Either way. I wasted money on transferring to join a guild I got kicked from for knowing someone you don't like.

Which I apologised and welcomed you back for. It was based on the fact that you joined and play with them. I know I'd go if my friends were kicked out of the guild, as I stand in my friend's corner.

I think I raided maybe once or twice with you guys, most of the stuff you did (the totcs etc) were organised by an ex-officer as an ad-hoc thing.

While your friends all got free pass to do whatever they wanted.

That's what friends are for.

My friends are great players, there's no doubt about that. We're all great gamers in general. We had dead weight, but that weight wasn't in the foundations. It's easy to say 'bring in good players', but not so easy to do. WoW is a big game these days, massive market and has attracted a lot of casual and non-competitve gamers. There's quite a sifting job to do on them compared to 3-4 years ago.

I didn't say I wasn't expecting it. I told the people that were regular and active members who were social within the guild.

2-3 months ago, sure.

My problem isn't with the server choice, it's just that it's PvP.

Having played on one before, they just make the arduous grind of levelling even worse with griefing. No, thanks. :)

I've played wow since US release before starting on EU and tbh PVE servers are boring compared to PVP imo, I mean ye I get what you are saying with the getting owned part/leveling - but it adds another dimension of fun if you dont take it too serious or to heart. lol

If ppl kill you over and over normaly other higher level players/friends will come own them and then you have a battle :p its all fun n games!

Should remake the guild as what it was when it started, aka 10 man progression guild with a good community. In my eyes it started going bottoms up as soon as the mass recruitment started for 25 mans

To be honest, I posted here a while back and was going to apply. I read some of the application posts on their forum and saw the caliber people that was accepted. I'm not talking about gear as that's nothing, but general attitude and maturity. People seemed to be accepted left right and center. I didn't bother in the end.

Edit.

I must also ad that Sawell seems like a stellar guy and as an ex RL and GM myself, I know all too well how awkward and hard it is finding good people that is on the same wave length as everyone else. It actually brings back memories tanking in Hyjal and interviewing applications in /w at the same time :p.

That's incredibly rich coming from you. Best of luck in your "world class raiding guild", if it is world class, you'll be kicked part way through your first raid.

I don't really care about it, its a free for all loot fest now, as most people are aware.

I thought your incredibly childish behaviour and potent favouritism was really quite pathetic :p

There isn't really a lack of talented players on Karazhan, they would just NEVER wear your guildtag.

So did you really fancy yourself as a Best-in-Europe player? :p

Seriously, who says these type of stupid things in /g ?

Did you actually say it?

No, myself and my friends had a joke about saying stuff like - "BEST MAGE EU" and so on.

Since we did that, loads of people are doing it now and its got quite silly :p

There were a huge amount of stupid things being said in guild chat, usually coming from the officers messing about (which is mostly all they did).

Oh, and my apologies to JediFragger for derailing the thread in such a hostile manner, but I said what I thought needed to be said.

There is no way you can define someone as being the best in Europe as a player really, certainly not for anything related to PvE :p

Very disappointing to see how everything turned out i got to admit.

But these are the types of people that play wow these days.

Goodbye comradery
Hello Misanthropy

Jason, right? Intrigued as to why you've turned on us, the other officers included and deleted/blocked us.

We held nothing against you and only spoke favourably about you. I appreciate that there was a band wagon of hatred in this thread towards me, and am thankful that for the most part it's directed by a few sour individuals. But I'm surprised that you've turned too. The irony in what you've said above vs getting on the misanthropy wagon towards members who've only ever tried to help you is rich.

If you've got your own personal reasons then fine, but I'd hate to believe that you have been seduced into following the thoughts of a few misinformed and narrow-minded individuals.

I was looking forward to playing some BC2 with you. You spoke only a few days ago about joining us on the realm we migrated to.

Jason, right?
correct,

No band wagon of hate on my part bud,
I just found it a bit of an eye opener reading how you have posted here and the way you have spoken to people on here.

Not saying any of you guys have done anything to me specificly
I just dont wish to associate myself with that sort of crowd.
Hence the deletes from skype and steam.
And i also really dont feel like being griefed over steam or skype.
Not sayin that they will but i cbf with the possibility of it happening.

Best of luck with with your endevours in wow.

Anyone backed into a corner by insulting and slander would defend themselves if they have any sort of pride. Why you'd base that behaviour on my general mentality towards friends or people in general is beyond me, especially as you know me. I've never been rude to you, shown you any hostility and neither have my friends. But you seem to have made your mind up and fair enough. It's a shame because we live close and we're all just normal guys, we don't bitch about people or moan or give people grief unless we're forced into that situation. I thought we were just getting to know each other after you coming back from holiday, but meh.

Best of luck in whatever you decide to do.

Except it isnt. Kara is the quietest PvP server ive ever been on. I really shouldnt have started levelling a toon there but I thought the Unit sounded worthwhile. Havent got much to say on that, sounds like y'all have way too many issues that quite frankly I cannot be bothered to worry about, im casual all the way.

But the server is rubbish. Im level 69 and I have only ever seen two alliance since 50, in the Outland, a pally and a warrior. They ganked me (I was pleased, I thought here we go) but they got stomped by about 800 horde. I have yet to play anything but WSG and AB, theres just never enough players and I check all the time. Really is a terrible server and ill be paying to move soon. Anyways, see y'all about.
