check out the hardcorp reveiw imo one of the better reveiws. has 260 and 280 reveiw, temps,overclocks there using the BFGTech GTX 280 OC as well. they overclocked the mem up to 2.6ghz lol!!

Still not great. Take the GTX260 for £261. As Amandtech review states, two 8800GT in SLI will match it so if you have a 8800GT and a SLI board already, then £100 will get you same performance compared to £211 (selling GT for £50).

And £400 is a better price for the GTX280 but I really do think it needs to be around £350 IMO.

Sure the GX2 is currently slightly ahead of the GTX280 but it's interesting to look at ExtremeTech's view when testing the cards with 3D Mark and Vantage which attempts to stress cards with upcoming technologies. Basically, how will these cards perform in games to come in 1-2 years?

by the time that happens the GTX 280 would have had a better performing & cheaper more efficient version out

I'm going to stick with my 8800GTS till the next refresh
only game that stresses it is crysis and i don't play that anymore

all companys like EVGA, BFG, inno, Pov etc do is add their own sticker/warranty
