Well frankly I think PC gaming is going to become the domain of the uber-rich, with component prices going up and up every year.

GFX cards which can actually play a good above 5FPS will be £400-£500 before long, CPUs are getting ever more expensive (see Skylake).

For some reason (probably insufficient competition), the market has failed to promote the interests of consumers. Now prices are going through the ***** roof, and it's a very, very sad day for PC gamers.
