That FE £399 pricing is influencing third party cards prices, likes of the MSI should be £350 tops.
**** off nvidia, and that's the first time I've really felt that way about the green team, been supporting nvidia for the best part of 15 years but they are taking the pee now, really hope the 480 is a runaway success, I'll be buying one for my secondary machine and I don't even really need it.
LMAO.
AMD hear my prayers, please deliver us from evil and lead us not into temptation....
Damn.
Guess my card won't be pre-ordered today. Honestly thought it would be around the £350 mark.

Its what is going to kill the gaming pc in general over time you will only be left with elite enthusiast with money to burn and benchmarks to do ..more and more will move over to consoles nvidia intel ect are shooting themselves in the foot with these prices ..
This was what I expected TBH. The prices people were hoping for would have decimated the 970/980/980Ti new and used prices alike. Especially the Ti, which will no drop but if these cards had come in at low 300's, it would have been very bad business for them. Nvidia weren't going to let that happen.
Yep.
My friend was having a gripe to me the other day how much consoles suck and hold games back, and he's fed up and wants the glory days back of things like crysis coming out when it did pushing the boat forward.
But I basically said exactly what you have. There needs to be more competitive pricing to pull people into pc gaming.
Nvidia weren't going to let that happen.
