Your card does seem to be running a bit hotter than others I've seen. With everything at stock and default auto fan settings the card should hover around 80-81 degrees. Once it goes over 80 it stops boosting.

Another user said they reached 70 degrees with this fan profile.

What's your ambient like? Also check there's nothing blocking the exhaust at the back of the case.
 
I'm getting a boost of 1110 so far; that's with the power target set to 106% and temp hovering around 80 degrees after an hour of Planetside 2.

Is an over volt of 38mV safe ?

So far without over volting my core jumps up to 1019 in stress tests, That's with only maxing out the temp and power sliders, Going to see if I can get 1200+ stable :)

Think I read somewhere that increasing the voltage does nothing at all.

Can you do a heaven benchmark with everything stock and tell me the temp/fan pecentage afterwards? :)

I'll get round to that later and post back, Current overclock is 1202/3206 without touching the over voltage feature :)
 
Just got rid of the overvolting, It dropped the core by 10mhz and temps went down aswell so I adjusted it back up via the core/memory slider and now I'm back at 1202/3206 :D
Still testing on Heaven, Valley, Stone Giant, Batman Arkham Benchmarks, Battlefield 3, Crysis Series *Yes all of them * and pretty much every game Benchmark out there to make sure it's stable, A little OCD I know but I like to call it OC................UK...........*Cough Cough*
Anyway, So far I've done 6 runs of heaven with zero glitches and good temps :)
