£492 inc VAT is the cheapest I've come across, with free delivery. No "cashback" type offers, and it's from a UK store.

Hopefully OcUK will offer similar prices soon

I'd prefer to buy from OcUK, but not at a 60 quid premium.

Decided not to be lazy and grab all the bench results for 1920x1200 & 2560x1600 for potential buyers to see and maybe help decide if it is worth it or not.

some of the benchmarks seem a bit low greg,

hitman absolution @2560 x 1600 states 37.6 I get 61.3
f1 2012 is spot on with mine
borderlands 2 seems a bit low im getting around 120 fps
battlefield 3 seems a bit low but all depends on map being played I suppose

some of those could be because of my processor though im not sure.

I know the bench they used for Hitman was 'Hit and Run' and that is the most demanding area in the game (or that I found), it brought both my Titans to questionable frame rates but the rest of the game flows much higher. In truth though, I never put a 100% trust into paid reviewers and generally use these as a guide line, more than a 'set in stone'.

I just went to google product search (google.co.uk/shopping) then searched for GTX780, and arranged the results by price, low to high. Pretty much the same procedure I use whenever I'm looking to buy something online. Should be easy enough to find.

Nice gpu, Not as good as a Titan or 690 but not far off at all, Infact considering that the Titan was only released 2-3 months ago i would be gutted if i went and bought one. There are people overclocking there 780's higher than Titan even though its the same TDP of 106. Definately the better card for value and performance, this will only hurt the Titans first hand and second hand sales. If i was going to buy i would buy the 780 no questions!

Does anybody know if HyperQ and Dynamic parallelism is still supported in these crippled GK110 chips?

Less stream shaders will mean less power consumption, which will mean a higher clockspeed is possible within the same power envelope.

Some games respond better to clock speed past a certain amount of shaders, others respond better to more shaders over less faster shaders.

Ordered the MSI GTX780, and it should be here either tomorrow or Monday (hopefully Monday, since I have a cubic assload of work to finish over the weekend and having it sat there waiting will be a huge distraction!).

Now... Where to start with the gaming? I have both Crysis 2 and Metro 2033 sat waiting to be played. Choices choices

It's probably a bit excessive, but nevermind. At least I'll have good performance with "everything" turned up, on the games I want to play.

...In for a penny, in for a pund (or in for £500, in for a grand :eek:

I decided to join the club so I treated myself to a 780 SC ACX, I'm currently using a 5870.

I was just wondering how I should go about switching from amd to nvidia. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

I would use driver sweeper pro and remove the AMD drivers - Remove your card - place in the shiny new 780 and install the latest Nvidia drivers.

Had a few BSOD with these now :rolleyes:

Need to have a proper play tonight. Sick of seeing the words Driver IRQL not less or equal. I'm thinking a clean windows install might fix as I have been on AMD hardware before. Gonna wipe off the drivers and EVGA precision and re install it all see if that fixes it first. Clean windows install won't hurt but is time consuming. Annoying as it never BSoD on load or when gaming it happens when the system is idle - yesterday waking it from screen saver caused it :mad:

Anyone else having issues with the 320.18 driver and 780's?

Not on the 780's (As far as I have read). What is your idle clocks (sitting on desktop)?

Use Precision X to check or similar.

Do you use Firefox?
