GTX 780 Owners Club

Well, it seems to be ok :)

It scored 1408 at 1080, and 786 at 1600.

Not bad for a non overclocked card.

Very quiet too, which is a nice bonus :)

Thanks.

It looks like its going to become even harder to find a reference 780 for sale! I am seriously contemplating going SLI, but I would rather another ref card for looks as I already own one :/

Maybe I should wait for the Ti to come out and see what ends up in the MM!

Easy to find if you look. :)

I know they are out there, but they seem fairly thin on the ground in comparison to aftermarket coolers, they also seem to command a price premium? When you would kind of expect the opposite!

Too much $$ ;) I am going to play the waiting game. 290 crossfire maybe if the price isn't much more than me selling my 780. Will see what happens over the next week or so.

I was testing to see if my maximum overclock of 1254 core and 1752 mem was game stable, I upped the volts and had a crysis 3 session. One thing I noticed is the card now boosts higher, it was up to 1280 core!

So it isn't as simple with these things as finding your max overclock then adding a touch more volts to make it stable, I'd have to reduce my core to get the max stable overclock I suspect

Not yet I dont think. As long as its only available with the reference card a sub £400 780 with the free games is still pretty competitive.

£320 for the R9 290, that's quite a price difference. GTX 780 needs to come down a little more. :D

Which is good news for me, GTX 780 for £350 by December I think, maybe even less.
