GTX 780 Owners Club

I'm having difficulty understand my GPU-Z readings and EVGA precision X settings.

I'm trying to achieve:
1200mhz core
7000mhz memory

So far I've set memory to +248 (1502 +248 = 1750 x 4 = 7000mhz)
However in gpu-z, setting +248 memory offset gives me 1626mhz not 1750mhz

Also evga precision X monitoring software reads it at 3251 mhz memory clock.
eh?

Now onto core, I've set evga to +150 which on stock core of 863 gets me 1013 (1052 boost) But in evga monitoring software it's showing 1150mhz core and in heaven benchmark its showing 1350mhz core.

I DON'T KNOW WHO TO BELIEVE!!!

Please help!

Pleased to join this thread, bought an Inno3D GeForce GTX 780 iChill HerculeZ X3 Ultra (stupidly long name) this week, the ASIC rating is 82% so should hopefully clock well.

What voltage does it need to remain stable at 1311? I know mine needs 1.2 above 1188.

Believe only what you see in precision and only the readings in the sensors tab on gpu-z. The memory is more awkward as it is reported as double so you either divide it by 2 ( 3652/2=1626) or multiply it by 2 to get the effective speed. I've had to set my msi gaming at +600 to get 1802. Core clock is also confusing as you have boost to contend with so +135 on my card results in 1150, +150 results in 1188 & +165 results in 1228. In principal, it should drop back to base clock either when the core reaches thermal target or the power target.

Was running 1.2v at the time, not gone above that because of the temps and I don't want to brick the card :p

Funny thing is, with the stock bios and +150 on the core I see a reported core clock of 1300+ in Heaven Valley anyway?! Not sure how accurate that is though.

Was tempted to re-seat the heatsink with some liquid metal but again not had the balls to do that either yet.

I RMA'd one of my Classi's, I honestly do not think I need SLI at this moment in time and if anything they'll come down in price. It is coping remarkably well with Battlefield 4 on a mix of ultra/high unless I put AA on.

Let us know how they overclock. I bit the bullet early when prices dropped and ended up with an A1 standard card. Would be interesting to see if the B1 and GHz cards overclock further.

Will do, should have them for monday next week. They will both be under air, but am using a 600t with 4 side fans so temps should be controllable all being well. Gonna be interesting to see how the temps comapre to the 2 580's im currently running.
