GTX 780 Owners Club

Hi guys,

Ordered a EVGA 780 SC ACX edition, should arrive tomo.

Never had an EVGA card before but I have always wanted one, so this fits nicely.

Upgrading from a GTX680-I'm hoping its a worthwhile upgrade! Its mainly for BF4, The new Witcher when that comes out etc.

Really wanted to buy a 290/x but didnt want to put up with a stock cooler...my case is the 800D and while cpu is under water the G card temps arnt the best at all.

Looks like a great card, factory OC'd and beats the Titan in a fair few things....I'm excited :D

Any idea if it works with Gainward-branded reference models? Might have to try that when I get home. Not that my card needs much help with memory, but hey.

Not a clue, was looking at all the features on the box and noticed it said memory over voltage, so investigated and found I have 100mv memory volt adjustment available via gainwards own tool

I am waiting for my 780 Classified to replace my 560ti and I was wondering, what is the correct way to install drivers? I already have the latest drivers installed, should I uninstall/remove card/install 780/install drivers?

Just tried it; I don't seem to have a memory overvolt option. Is it hidden away somewhere? Perhaps pushing it past 1850mhz would have been greedy anyway.

That's exactly why I bought a 780 as well (except I went for the Gigabyte one).

Nice! Gigabyte are excellent. It was a toss up between EVGA and Gigabyte but like I say always wanted to try an EVGA card. What edition did you get?

I got the GTX OC not the GHZ version (I could not justify the extra cost). Mine clocks to 1176 on standard voltage, which is basically comparable and usually runs below 70 degrees.
