GTX 780 Ti Specifications Leaked – Full Blown Gk110 Core with 2880 SP

Its obvious now just how much NV clearly had up their sleeve to use to counter this gen from AMD. After all the 780 is really just the true 680!;)

780's down to a more realistic £400 price point
780 GHz edition to challenge the 290x for around £500
780Ti to get back the crown £550+

Offering a complete blanket counter attack to the 290x's at £430+

780 GHz been out for while now; they are just usually put with custom coolers....so no they won't take down 290X

790 Ti will match 290X but will it in OC; if the specs are right; they will only be 6% over Titan on OC - which means....no it won't. Not in an OC

Because math?

If that screenie is to be believed your looking at a 20% core bump on 780 and 8% on the Titan SHADER ONLY. TMUs etc is up again so its more like 14%.

Your argument was about as solid as saying an 200bhp car is twice as fast as a 100bhp car without even considering any other characteristics.

That card will be an expensive beast, great Nvidia are doing this to make it more competitive, hope this will drive AMD to bring out something better which I doubt XD

Clock for clock this card will be around 4-5% faster than a Titan. Amd already have the r9 290x that matches a Titan. Why would they release another card for a 4-5% gain. Out of the box it should be a good bit quicker but for us overclockers it's nothing special. If the rumors are true this card is gonna cost way more than a r9 290x. This card is only coming out because Nvidia need to retake the performance crown which they love to have.

290X clocking headroom seems about the same for other cards in a similiar catagory being the top end of the process i.e. average will probably be in the region of 10-15% (without high end cooling) - the 780 is a fairly cut down spec for the top end version of the core its based on and has pretty decent headroom (without high end cooling).

You know well apples are never compared to apples around here :)

Flat out a custom 780 may match a Titan with an extra 100mhz or so, but it's a much wider gap at "normal" clocks I would say nearer 200mhz (from my tests).
