GTX 780 Ti Specifications Leaked – Full Blown Gk110 Core with 2880 SP

I don't remember BF4 graphs showing such a discrepancy with the 290X/780/Titan before. Weird.

To anyone who picked up a 7990... wow... you must be rather happy right now.

Also... confirmation of the 780Ti specs: Wow! 2880 SP's. That's quite a move for a Ti variant. I don't remember there ever being such an upgrade for a Ti - or similar - before. Card is gonna be bit of a beast :-)

Hi Sorry I meant the reviews were saying It was close to 3GB at 1600p. I just downloaded BF4 - Origin is slow compared to steam and trying it now in high and on ultra on the single player campaign. Only tried 10 minutes but theres a noticeble difference to smoothness. Will complete the campaign on ultra / high today and see how it feels.

Am I right in assuming an 850 w power supply will be good for two of these with mild overclock on them and the 3770k CPU. Also a few SSD's running and one HD?
I'm currently running a 690 on a 650w supply but must be pushing it a bit!

I can't wait to see the price of a 12gb ti. Some rich guy with no knowledge will get one and try waving his epeen around to be told what a fool he was.

It won't happen. Nvidia don't usually provide more memory that what will likely be enough for the useful lifetime of the product, unless it's some kind of 790 based on a 780 or ti having 6gb (unlikely). The Titan is an exception but isn't the memory size in that more to do with architecture?

It certainly does seem over the top, but that's the beauty of rumours I suppose.

Not sure 12GB would even do 4K surround on its own - it would have enough VRAM sure but doubt the computing capacity would be there in isolation.

I'm hoping for a 6GB version effectively replacing the Titan. 4K benchmarks suggest between the R9 290X and Titan that a couple of tests needed more than the 4GB available on the AMD card.

Want it soon though as I want to play all the new games with the eye candy!

Always wondered why thats the case Darren. They seem to give you just enough or just short of the Vram you actually need. The 580 was a prime example of that as 2 in sli were powerful enough but the 1.5gb of vram on the standard card meant not very future proof to go with that power provided

Some early benchmarks are out.

I took R9 290X as a reference for this comparison. Long story short, the GTX 780 Ti is about 6% faster than R9 290X, this is out-of-the-box performance. With overclocking GTX 780 Ti can be 15-23% faster than R9 290X. To illustrate, GTX 780 Ti scored 6100k points in 3DMark 11 with 1246 MHz clock, and let me remind you, we are still talking about reference cooler.
