GTX 780 Ti Specifications Leaked – Full Blown Gk110 Core with 2880 SP

Search isn't working properly.. I can't find the Gibbo 290X review thread :-( What did the overvolted OC'd 290X score in 3dmark 11? Working again now.

At 1200Mhz on core of 290X it got 5780 Firestrike Extreme. Not bad compared to 6100 of this overclocked 780Ti (which is a bit of a beast it seems). Be interesting to see how 1300Mhz compared.

For reference a 780GTX HOF at 1310/6700 is getting 5423 vs 6100 for an overclocked 780Ti. 780Ti looks like it is ~12% faster than GTX 780 clock for clock, so not a massive improvement if you already own a GTX780.

The R9 290X got 5217 at a mild OC of 1060/6000 without voltage tweaks. At 1200/6400 R9 290X scored 5780 (see page 3 of that thread). 6% difference at stock in a benchmark is not enough to guarantee an outright victory for 780Ti. I suspect it's going to be close between 780Ti and R9 290X at normal resolutions up to 2560x1600.

I would take what they have published about the 780ti and Firestrike Extreme with a pinch of salt, the 290X will rule this bench.

Below is my Air Cooled 290X on this bench. If you notice there are water cooled Titans below it. The point is one extra SMX module is not going to give those cards enough extra to see off the 290Xs on water. The other thing is my 290X still had more in the tank.

The person above my card is 8 Pack on LN2.

Although expensive... it's a damn exciting time in PC world again :D So glad both companies has up'd their game.

EDIT: Kaapstad, I did see your score of 6002, but figured you would probably be going all out with it, so didn't want to skew the figures. It's not released so definitely not taking anything for fact don't you worry about that :) I did notice in the link that the user actually reused some images from another site, so it's potentially bogus.

What were your clocks for that bench please?

I was on Windows 7 and older drivers, my latest score is better than Kaaapstads due to windows 8.1 and newer drivers. I can now hit 6000-6200, shall be posting a new review soon. ;)

@Gibbo how about you posting an entry in the Firestrike Extreme thread to give 8 Pack some competition.:D:)

I was using Win7 and the CD driver for my run.

lol. epic :D I love technology

At this point it seems both companies just can't get their full line up out fast enough!

I think it was around 1230/1625

I kept winding the clocks up and the card kept going (no crashes). I thought I had better stop with only 8 Pack above me, I don't think I could have got close to his score.:D

All I know now is... as long as I get a reasonable job in the states... I will be building a mega PC :D (And at present... it's anybody's guess who'll be top in a month or so!!) I'm actually gutted I can't buy it from OcUK, because these guys a lot to the community :)

If this has already been asked, I'm sorry - but I don't fancy crawling through all pages of the thread :(

Will OCUK have this in stock at launch?

GTX 780 Ti will also be available in 6GB and 12GB variants

GeForce GTX 780 Ti will arrive with black cooler, so this is more than just a new BIOS
