You REALLY need to get out more..

Buy another GTX 780 in a couple of weeks when the price drops.

Not a fan of dual cards tbh, had dual cards in the past to run 1440P before the 780 came along. Single GPU is much nicer imho, not just after highest fps, but smoothest gameplay. It's looking like the GTX 780ti could be a power house, but still not convinced it will be worth the upgrade from a 780 though. Looking forward to some proper reviews of that, and non ref 290X's.

I keep thinking as well, if 28nm has managed this much performance, what will 20nm bring? Probably worth the wait, it'll all come down to whether I can resist a new card to play with lol.

You REALLY need to get out more..

Haha :D

Yea i think people with 780 will stay where they are cause i don't think selling your 780 for £380 or less and getting 780ti for £500-650 will be really worth it tbh i mean if you will be using like 4k monitor or something like that then 6-12GB ram will acutally make sense but then there is R290X for £420 so yea Nvidia show us what you got :D

Ha, mate you have no idea. I have lot's of children and a very hectic life lol. I am kept very busy. The brief time I get to relax for a few minutes here and their to myself I usually spend on PC reading / browsing the web, gadgets are the way forward for the older settled down man lol.

The Gandalf pictures were meant in jest, ironically I think it's the other more serious posters here that need to get out more :p

And the horn's of gondor shall sound on release day. Forget the charge of the rohirrim it will be the charge of the nerds if it can match a 690. That would be what i would call a real upgrade from my 580. A single card with 6GB of ram nipping on the heels of a 690 at the highest resolutions.

I might actually be able to play Crysis now with 60fps minimums and 8x MSAA!

I think the easy way to work out the performance is to take any Titan overclocked benchmark and add about 4%. In theory it should be 6.66% but the full GK110 will lose a bit of overclocking headroom.

As to the fact that the 780ti comes with vram @1750, most Titans can do that easy.

Spot on tbh it's not the next coming of the messiah like stock benchmarks will probably show. Gonna look good in the reviews but i think the price will be to high for most at £550-600. It will do what Nvidia want it to do though and that's give them the fastest gpu in the world. Overclocked is gonna be tight though.

So will this be much more expensive than a 780? I'm looking for a 780 for my z87 build and not sure if it's worth the wait or just go for one 780.

Also have to remember that we may get the reference 780 ti from nvidia but when will we get/are we going to get an aftermarket 780? I guess that'll take some time?

I was just about to buy one 780 but I don't know!

I also don't think there is going to be a 12gb version, it sounds fake to me (like the previous specs they've shown, ended up being fakes) but if I'm wrong I will be damn surprised.

Well 699 dollars translates to less than £500 as per google, which surprised me,however still don't know if this is before tax :) Can't wait to get a Evga one!

Pretty sure it's pre-tax.

The GTX780 launched at $649 (pre-tax) in the US, and it ended up launching at £550-£650 over here in the UK. If the GTX780Ti is launching at $699, which is $50 more (pre-tax), we'd most likely looking at UK launch of £580-£680...:o

Seriously forget the GTX780Ti, just grab two GTX780...
