$699.99 = £438.44 + VAT 20% = £526.13 + Retail fee = £550+

Not bad for a full 2880 cores, maybe 6GB version come in at £650+

Have you forgotten that GTX780 was launched at $649.99 in the US, but £550-£650 here in the UK?

For $699.99, it would most likely mean £580-£680 over here...

Nvidia have never been shy of charging high in the face of lower priced competition when they have the undisputed single GPU champ which I guess this will end up being.

Heh if it was actually £450 even I would buy one.. I don't need a new card as I have nothing that does not run on full settings at 1080p/60hz atm.

That would just be too hard to resist for the e-peen.

I'd say 600 for the normal, 700-800 for the super-multi-fancy-black-rainbow editions. Nvidia wants to make profit.
