GTX 780 Ti Specifications Leaked – Full Blown Gk110 Core with 2880 SP

Nvidia could really mess AMD 290x sales up and surprise all of us if they released the GTX 780ti at £450..;)

Not really as the 290 non X is 1-2 fps slower in BF4 compared to 290x and cost circa 300 verses 440. I've seen reviews that put the 290x 10% in front of the titan in BF4 due to AMD driver optimisation and raw power, more when Mantle is released. (Not sure if its true or BS)

My bet is that the Non rerference cards will use better vram modules, better cooling and overclock up to 1200-1250Mhz which is likely to be a bit of a challenge for GK110 as it currently stands.

I want AMD and Nvidia to compete tooth and nail so we can afford to run 2-3 780's, Titan's or 290x's etc..

That would be my guess too

AMD and NVidia are going to want to get some shelf life out of these new cards they have launched.

Kaap, read this: http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Editor...ss-Migration-20-nm-and-Beyond/20-nm-and-Below

It's an interesting read on current fab affairs.

I too cannot wait because i'm looking for a single card upgrade for me GTX690. I'm feeling strain if i'm honest, mainly down to my card not being a great clocker i think.
The problem being, there is not likely to be a new dual GPU card until 20nm. Unless nVidia release a 790 using decent 780 cores, but i just don't see there being much point.

Until the 690 there was never much point in them to be honest.

They might do though. EVGA are releasing a 6GB 780 GTX variant which to me seems properly pointless at this stage.

The GTX690 was what the other's needed to be like. It took a while for the design it to mature. I have high hopes for the future of dual GPU cards now.

I don't think there will be any new dual cards along for some time from NVidia. Putting two GK110 chips on the same PCB (500watts of heat) would make a 290X look like it was very cool running.

Gutted I'm not on MM yet :( I'd much rather flog my gear there to someone who appreciates it and isn't going to be a total douche in general.

£500-600 would be pretty sweet. But it's never gonna happen :/

Mine are priced at £457 including delivery. I'm assuming you're talking about launch price on the Ti though ;).

Yep Kaap, the most I reckon you'd see (speculation spectacular) would maybe be two 770 cores with 3GB each.

tbh I've never understood why companies make dual cards when SLI/crossfire is available.

I know there are situations when you can be limited to a single card but normally dual cards are much larger anyway so it's not like they can fit in many small cases.

- "Fastest graphics card" crown
- Good solution for small systems and for less cramped system. Which makes it good for a LAN Gaming rig.
- Can be very efficient graphics power - http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7990-devil13-7970-x2,3329-12.html

GRX690 isn't a big card at all. 7990 looks to be though.

Well, dual-GPU cards still generate more "manageable" heat than two cards that have to be sandwiched, so it's easier to design airflow to support a single card than two. Not to mention it still uses less power than two discrete ones.

Now correct me here if I am wrong, please, but you don't need a SLI-capable mobo to run a dual-GPU card, right? So that's another thing.
