GTX 780 Ti Specifications Leaked – Full Blown Gk110 Core with 2880 SP

Let me simplify the maths for you (Yes I know they don't scale like this, but let me entertain..).

1 Titan = 100% GPU power and 6GB Vram.
2 Titans = 200% GPU power and 6GB shared Vram
3 Titans = 300% GPU power and 6GB shared Vram.

In other words, 1 titan will probably run out of GPU power before running out of Vram, but as 3 titans are triple the GPU power, they might run out of Vram before they run out of GPU power.

Get it?
Your wrong,Even if you have 3 Titans the core will run out first as its mirrored in the same way as the Vram. I know this from having 2x690's i ran out of vram before i even maxxed out the stock clocks.

Nonsense. Sli and crossfire use vram in exactly the same way. Its YOU that needs to read up on how graphic cards work and dont be so quick to cause offense. Both my 780 sli setup and my7970 crossfire set up only used 3gb of vram as both mirror vram in the same way.
Yes your right what i meant to say was if you have 2 cards in sli with different memory then the lower card will be used which is the same for both camps.
Umm? Your post makes no sense. If you sli 2 cards you get more gpu power. So if you have 2 6gb cards you could in fact use more then 3gb of ram before you run out of gpu grunt.

Dont matter your never ever going to use 6GB of ram...not with the core clock speeds of today.

At the end of the day i told you a fully fledged Titan will be released which i knew long ago from inside sources.:D

The core is not mirrored, otherwise SLI would have no benefit at all.. You need to start reading about how computing works on parallel GPU's or CPU's.

If both of your Cores on your GTX 690 would be running the same instructions and commands, why is there a 2nd core to begin with? It wouldn't do anything.

Anyway, AMD and Nvidia handle sli and crossfire in the same way in regards to memory and computing.

You'll get a CPU bottleneck before that happens.

I thought the idea behind SLI was each runs as normal, so you have 2 titans each having access to its own 6gb ram...but each is only having to render 30fps in order for the pc to run a game at 60fps; so you see a frame from titan1...then a frame from titan2...repeat.

That is AFR and AFR2... Alternative Frame Rendering which is used to more effect through Nvidia Inspector.

dont let the recent events fool you, this is nvidia
noway under 550 :)
they've probably been sitting on this card for months
being used as doorstops and prop up the sides their desks n stuff :)

LoL

It’s all speculation tho... the way Nvidia have been pushing "The way it's meant to be played + G-sync across x3 monitors and the whole 4K thing" It would be a real disappointment if the Ti launched with 3gb

Surely it's got to be at least 4GB same as AMD

While AMD cards are designed to run at 94/95 degrees “maybe this is just me - the idea of putting something that is designed to run that hot in my rig is completely foreign & I skipped the GTX480 for the same reasons” AMD do have mantle round the corner… I will be waiting to see how BF4 adopts & performs on it before making my next purchase.

I don’t mind splashing the cash and I really need/want to upgrade my 680 Lightning which I purchased from OCUK on day 1 of launch. I just hope the 780Ti a full fat GK110 launches with more than the leaked screen shots showing 3 GB ram.
