GTX 980 / 970 Discussion

Been a lurker for over a week, trying to get the latest info but had to share and say it's actually here!

I'm based in NZ, got a call from my local supplier that they had one Gigabyte GTX 980 unallocated. Needless to say I went up their quicksmart and bought it. Cost in NZD is around $970 inc taxes. Unfortunately it's 11:25 am and I can't do any testing/installing until I get home. :(

If its that much they can stick it up their pipe, as the 780ti isn't too far off the mark, if that. Buy second hand 780ti easily now.
 
NZD is more expensive for Hard-Wear imports.
Its because they have a small population far away from the western hemisphere.
