would anyone recomend going from a 280x toxic to a 970?
Yes, very decent price on the 970 and with a good overclock a very good improvement on performance

980 SC ordered, are we getting these delivered for Saturday?
* 3840x2160 at 30Hz or 4096x2160 at 24Hz supported over HDMI. 970 and 980 what a hell?
Did you pay for Saturday delivery? I selected the option and am assuming we'll get them tomorrow.
So... Is that as a yes to a 750w psu?
Hmm, my old 4gb 680 phantom still runs everything perfectly even at 1440p, so little point in buying one of these.
Actually pleasantly surprised by Nvidias pricing for once!
HDMI 1.4 only supports 4K at 30hz, what is the issue?
All the 4K monitors have display port anyway
This is the situation I'm in
My 7970 Ghz edition and 4Ghz 6 core Xeon (in a old first gen i7 setup) still runs everything I want it to well.
If there's a new UT/(Decent) Battlefield/Crysis/whatever I may be more inclined.
But I have a itch i need to scratch..
Screw I will try to sell my 3x GTX 780's and get 3x GTX 970's !
