Well I have a GTX660 ATM,but I might hold off and see what the GTX960 has to offer. Its not helped by the fact I recently both some new camera gear. Silly other hobbies getting in the way of my upgrading! :(

I know where you're coming from.

The temptation is strong with these new cards though I must admit. I run a pair of Titans and still contemplating on a pair of 970s to have a play with on another machine. :o

I hope for your sake boom AMD dont release any new cards until your wallet replenishes :D

Someone is going to get a bargain on MM soon...

Awesome.

Are you going to bench with your GTX780TI??

LOL,I am tempted to get a GTX970 myself now.

Need to be strong.

Yeah I'll def be comparing. My 780 Ti will be probably going up on MM over the weekend.

The itch was too much. Had to order! Looking forward to tomorrow :D

Glad I'm not the only one :p

Just get it and enjoy. These cards surpass a 290X and a 780Ti when clocked up. :D

From the reviews I have seen that does appear true (hell the EVGA SC ACX pulls ahead of a GTX980 when it's clocked up), but I once passed a Ferrari F40 on the M1. My point being what happens when the 290X/780Ti are clocked too, as the over clocked 970 benchmarks aren't that higher than stock 290X/780Ti.

Just wondering to myself now if or when the prices will fall on the remaining 780 stock and by how much, have a 780 lightning that has not long been waterblocked so no real desire to get the new series but to snag another lightning and block for sli at a decent price point would be nice. What do you guys predict/expect? some flash sales? or not.

Why are there so many cards to choose from? I've got no interest in the top end but the 970's look great value and a decent upgrade from my 460GTX but there are so many of the buggers I don't know where to start.

I would either get a 970 now, or wait a few weeks on the 980
I think that if we see a new AMD card soon then we might see a small price drop on the 980's, there is certainly plenty of room between the 980 and 970 pricing to allow for it

Too slow getting to the order.... out of stock while trying to remember my password!

£282 for that

£500 for that

£320 for that.

Putting a price into perspective, the 970 looks a good price and will be better once the dust settles.
