Ok, think I might be sold :) Can you confirm that the MSI GTX 970 Gaming has the 1x6pin and 1x8pin power same as the Galax OC and Gigabyte G1?

1600MHz core and 8400MHz memory for benching! :eek:

Basically no difference and since your overclocked perhaps even less.

20-35% improvement however with better average fps.

Of course not everyone does dual gpu set ups.

With an 780gtx I would also say not really worth it much better off waiting till next year its clear Nvidia/AMD will have a proper next gen card hopefully then.

If you got an itch however and can sell your 780gtx for a good price the 970 might be able to be exchanged and overclocked to faster speeds. Same could be said for your 2500k if sold as a bundle if you get a decent price ;)
