***Guide To Redeeming Digital Movies***

Hi folks, having been busy with house building I hadn't realised that UV is basically going down the toilet! So looking about to see how I could move my 100 odd films on UV to a non-dying format. I'm not an apple guy, so google play seemed to be the answer. Found a great thread, similar to this on avforums by -gonzo-, he explains in great detail the ins and outs of redeeming in vudu itunes etc setting up a MA account. He also explains why some films disappear or can't be redeemed properly yet.

Cutting to the chase, I'm a fully paid up Nord customer so figured I'd be fine to make the vudu, which i made and can access np. I added my uv account then went to create the MA account, crucial to link the google and itunes microsoft account. They have got wise, I tried all sorts, tunnelbear windscribe, combinations of all, still error. I found a nice program called softether vpn client, easy to set up and use and free. Created MA account np.

Just a heads up for those struggling, and maybe give clov!s christmas off!!! (nice one for this btw, wish I'd found this thread last night!)

Oh and once you are done, don't forget to delete the virtual adaptor, otherwise you'll be chugging along at 1meg for your internet speed. What I find ridiculous is that you need an American ip to create a MA account, yet can access the account once created, from anywhere in the world! It's just totally backward and the film companies are going out of their way to make it difficult to watch content from one place. It's hard enough for me to figure out, what about my parents or non tech people? Basically impossible, which defeats the purpose of technology making things easier and more efficient surely?

Finally managed to do it myself today, Winscribe extension failed umpteen times yesterday, I cleared my cache and tried a few times today switching between East and West and out the blue it suddenly worked, very strange... Thanks for trying anyway, it was appreciated

smartDNS will no longer allow me to register new Movies Anywhere accounts, still works fine for accessing VUDU etc and Fandangonow.

Same error with Getflix, I've spoken to both customer service agents and either of them can figure out what I'm trying to say to them :p

Yes very trustworthy, i have used them loads of times. Setup Hangouts to send them a message, pay through paypal and receive the code through Hangouts. :)

Would you be able to setup a Movies Anywhere account please - I have tried a few VPN's and non work :(

I have the Itunes and Vudu.
