Up to 30 points you get lots of ingame bonus items, 30-50 points is just a title.

See post 590 on how to get a free level 20 wolf.

You can easily get a black widow run in UW for the rare pet statue, or do it yourself with heroes if you know how.

You only get minipets on each characters birthday (every 12 moths), so I dont think you will have time to get them all. If you have all the campaigns you can do the cross campaign scavenger hunt to get the green mini moa chick (check GWwiki for how to do that).

I only have the original GW but really looking forward to GW2. I haven't played for years .. Is it worth buying the expansions now, or is the game dieing off?

As previously mentioned when going from GW1 to GW2, the number of points you acquire for your Hall of Monuments govern what benefits you will get in GW2. From 0 to 30 you'll get in-game items, ranging from exclusive pets to armour pieces. To get the whole 30 with just the original game is going to be very difficult if not impossible.

So if you intend on going for 30 points, you will need to get the expansions.

I got the complete collection but I just don't get anything about guildwars 1. It's a bit sad but after all I am terrible at rpg's need someone to like tutor me.

Yea you cant get 30 points without the expansions, and you cant even get a single point without EOTN.

Make a ritualist for your main character and you can play through the whole game on HM in God Mode without any of your party members dying by just standing still and pressing two buttons.

I think im still one of the Richest in Guildwars 1, I have around 900,000 Plat.

I havnt logged in a very long time so i better check in on it all

Can your GW1 character pass over to GW2?

900,000 plat is about 128,571 Ecto, or 514 stacks of Ecto, or over 6122 Armbraces...

I think someone is telling porkie pies

I know there are some rich folks in GW, but that's stretching it a bit.

I'll take a stack of Ecto as proof

had GW Nightfall on steam for beards and forgot !!

started a necro and just hit level 5 which is now allowing me a second profession of which i have no idea what is a good pairing so any suggestions are welcome plz

also, which NPC gives me the free pet ? I had a look around Zaishen Menargerie, no idea who gave what or where !

If you have the hall of monuments your character names are reserved and there are some rewards given based on the HOM calculator.

No direct transfer though.

Going to start working on the fellowship part - do I need to get the heroes to 20 or just get them a new set of armor? & what is the difficulty like on upgrading the EoTN hero armor? Nightfall ones seemed pretty easy.

N/Rt is the single most popular combination that everyone uses to make power healers.

Soul reaping gives you energy when stuff dies, giving you loads of energy to fire off rit heals. Monk is a close second because Necros have enough energy to carry the more expensive protection spells like prot spirit, aegis, extinguish and convert hexes.

Get them to 20, get the armour upgrades, then add them to HoM
Edit:- Except for MoX as he's upgraded already..
