You've caught me at a bad time mate.

I'm just about to move away for the 6-7 month for work. I'll only he home for the weekend and I will mostly be seeing the family when I'm home. Put your Toon name in here and when I'm home and on I'll look you up.
 
I don't have time in my life for all the content they keep releasing. I'm not sure the rewards are worth the investment anyway. I'll just keep on gathering the stuff I need for Bolt and playing WvW I think. Still enjoying the game as a whole but real life > GW2 I'm afraid! Anyone still playing a lot? *Put your hand down HeX!!* ;)
 
Yeah started playing again, just hit 80 2 days ago on my ranger, want to level a thief now though, they look a lot more fun.
 
Best realm to hook up with people tends to be Desolation which most are on.

Regarding playing much, I'm not at the moment, I hardly ever play but this is not through choice but enforced by work. Gutted I'm missing a lot but I try to pop on when I can. Still love the game and looking forward to a solid play session (which, unfortunately, probably won't be for about 6 month :p:D)
 
Its most certainly worth £20 even though I haven't logged in for a few month. I'd say you'd get your moneys worth just levelling 1 char to 80 at £20. The only reason I'm not playing is I don't have the time to dedicate to getting full enjoyment out of the game; getting good at WvW, gearing up and running instances all take too much time for me.
 
Most popular Euro realms have supporting Anericas guilds for off peak wvw, similar to Us server having EU support.

Whilst it certainly is quieter on a busy server it's never completely dead.
 
Not much - you've got fractals (which I don't care for), and small changes here and there - particularly to skills. Living story => temporary content.

I mostly just do hotjoin pvp now anyway - takes 2 mins to leap straight into the action. Conquest mode is a little repetitive, but I like the small scale maps and combat.

Pve combat is boring as **** - really mindless; just dish out dps until the red bar goes down... Was a monotonous chore to complete all the zones. I still love the pve lore, races and dialogue, but just cannot play there. And wvw is too much running around most of the time.

Edit: I should say I still love the pve art and design - the environments are absolutely beautiful (well... everything west of Hoelbrak!). Shame the enemy ai is so boring. I guess that's just how it is in an mmo.

As much as I think the combat in gw2 and tera is an evolution and a step forward in fluidity, I do miss having a wider range of skills and buffs. I agree wholeheartedly that gw2 is beautiful but there isn't enough content in the pve world to keep you exploring. The towns feel lifeless except lion's arch and the combat does feel less purposeful that say wow.
