Changing back to the origional whats changed in the last 9 months? May fire it up later and open my B'day pressies. I think I need a few to dedicate.
Someone mentioned HM armour nerf and ele damage actually being useful. Is this just vs ele or Phys too?
Noticed the AoR(?) E/Mo prot spammer is still the meta?
I remember Cantha being the best and by far the easiest to start and lvl to 20. Choose Elona at your peril as you are going to have to farm more SS points iirc and that is a real pain. prophecies only has finding that bloke in the desert to fully ascend but is really long.

There was a HM armour nerf? I find that hard to believe. In any case, a big portion of the damage reduction is down to the difference in levels which has no effect on armour ignoring damage despite the fact it has nothing to do with armour anyway.
High level mobs get better armour which in turn reduces damage. Get your W, put back on your starter armour and go and find something the same level. You'll see quite some difference. Shadow and chaos damage have always been armour ignoring hence their use for HM.
Yeah HM has had AL reduced and HP buffed instead. It's on the change notes.
Ele's have had a huge shakeup, lots of skills completely changed, some that work in conjunction with others now for combo effects etc.

Skirmisher for me. Warrior with a rifle and dual swords for that close in 'personal touch'. Then again, I may go for the same but with a longbow instead of a rifle, to take advantage of the bow's AoE effects.
Anyone got any good Hero builds?
I've had a set of builds for a while now and its been okay but just not effective in killing and healing.
So wondering if anyones got any good builds they don't mind sharing

Without wanting to turn this into a Guild Wars I thread, luckily I saved that image so I could make use of the build to clear a few HoM titles.

No, but most of the time. I prefer games on steam. If its not on steam then i wont get it though, seeing as im not all that bothered about it.

If it's anything like GW1, you won't even need the DVD once you're registered, and installed.

Might still go on steam, guild wars 1 didnt go on steam until years after its release.
