Rangers are likely to get some sick buffs when the next feature patch hits - most likely late September or early october.
Keep playing, that's for sure.
For those that didn’t see it, signets now affect rangers naturally and SotB has been replaced by a 10% damage boost against crippled (IIRC) opponents. BM pets specific traits have been made generic so they affect all pets. GS got buffs on all 5 skills, LB had a damage boost on autoattack at close and medium range, RF got it’s duration halved, barrage is half a second (IIRC) faster. Axe AA now grants might for every target hit. PoSs moves 25% faster. Brown and polar bear roars are now physical attacks.
i tried a ranger, thief, arcane guy cannot remember the class name, guardian and warrior. all till at least level 40.
warrior is the only one i took to level 80....it was just so much more fun and felt far more powerful too.
depends on your play style, I'm loving playing my daggered necro but I can swap to staff if I want to be ranged.
and whilst your low level gather EVERYTHING, crafting actually gives you a ton of XP for doing not a lot
what's everyone else doing at lvl 80? I just seem to pvp all the time slowly levelling up all my alts
They already have!
I haven't played since Saturday and unless I'm missing something big those Skill Bar notes are for the upcoming patch and haven't yet been implemented in game.
Rangers will be buffed and may be even better counter to thieves. I hope mesmers finally get some much needed fixes and buffs to certain weapons/traits/skills.
A historic summit is about to take place in the spreading shadow of Mordremoth’s advance, but not all of the world leaders have agreed to attend. Can you convince uneasy allies to come together and cooperate, or will lingering tensions spell Tyria’s doom?
This episode opens up more land for you to explore! Venture further into Dry Top and test your mettle against the new foes you find there!
I may pick up 3 accounts for this soon. Any beginner suggestions for a party of 3? One of us will probably play more than other 2, will we be able to explore the content properly if he gets ahead in levels?
