Just how many new players are they expecting anyway. If they wanted this it should have been two years ago or before the China release. Majority of the world has access to the game already so surly the influx of new players has been and gone?

Well, it seems ANet have really screwed the pooch with this patch. The forums are alight with nothing but complaints, both official and unofficial.

Their class balance team appears to have no ******* clue what they are doing.

No I had realised that a year ago but every patch just continues to reaffirm it.

(I exaggerate a little - they make some decent changes, but many nonsensical ones).

I believe the #1 is Desolation followed by Gandara.they are certainly highly populated servers too

It adds an entire new map, The Silverwastes, a ton of lore linking the events of GW1 to GW2, some great new bosses, a ton of achievements, new armour and weapons, more skill tweaks. And a bunch of other stuff.

So for anyone who has been on a GW2 break while the story was on hiatus, now is the time to return!

The last boss in the last story gave me a lot of grief. Even had to use a repair.
The mobs are pretty lethal in Silverwastes. The wolfs will one shot you if you don't keep moving.

Anyone got any nice Custom CCC Crossfire Profiles for GW2. I know these is already an AMD profile. However, i just dont think its 100% right. I was getting some minor texture issues with the glowing armours/weapons which wasnt present when crossfire was disabled.

I wonder how many players the new WoW expansion took away from GW2.

There is no way to quantify that statement, if GW2 was sub based you could but as its free you cant - personally I play both.

Don't think I could go back to GW2 now unless some good end game content comes that is worth the grind.

I tried this again while waiting for the massive WoW queues to die down and found myself just wanting around aimlessly from one objective to another. Am I missing something but apart from the char storyline that advances every few levels there is very little to do while leveling?
Also I take it the living story and most of the content is aimed at max level players?
