my brother met the guy that owns them on saturday, my bro said the guy was really cool person!

and my bro got to sit in an F40

Nice. The guy has good taste.

The Lambo looks to be actually Orange from a few pics I saw. Might be a decal or something on the car?

If it was a custom paint job, Im sure they would have coloured in the Orange bits im sure.

It's just a wrap. Quite a few of the cars have it :) For example, the now crashed RR Phantom, and there's a camo Gallardo, etc...

Yea, thought so.

The looks of the camo Roller is cool. I like it. Not sure about the Gallardo with the orange stripes on it though.

Nice, thanks for the vids :)

By the way, the car in "le mans type.avi" is a Farboud GTS.

The rear looks very Porsche GT1 esque, especially in that rear three quarter shot. That can only be a good thing

it's weird, the front is completely mashed so much have had a significant head on collision, then the scrapes down the side suggest contact with the armco but then how'd they manage to tear off the rear bumper aswell.

Does anyone know what happened to cause the damage to the viper?

Edited quote from www.gumball3000blog.com

There was a massive crash with the green cammo roller - the psyco was racing Max at about 150 mph, spun out, went over a bridge and his suitcases went all over the road. Luckily this was caught on film (and he was alive - but the desinger bags where *****)

I would have said he'd spun it to have caught the offside front and the nearside rear in one go.

GLC managed to only just get round the corner and 1/2 a mile up the road before getting pulled over for hanging out of the van, getting a ticket for half the band hanging out of the van and then having to leave 3 behind and driving off...

The Gumball3000 has reached the halfway point in 2006.

Unofficial Overall Checkpoint Leaders for 2006 Gumball Rally:

1st: Team Polizei
2nd: Team NSX
3rd: Team Ant&Pete

These overall leaders have consistently been the first three to arrive at nearly every checkpoint this year.

Team Polizei also would like to announce that Team NSX should receive the “Virgin Gumballer Award” for being one of the hardest driving and most enthusiastic Teams of this year’s Rally

Stories and comments from Alex Roy and Michael Ross.

Three of the McLaren SLRs have broken down, all with the same alternator problem. Team Polizei would like to point out that only one SLR has ever finished a Gumball. Alex and Michael are disappointed in the performance of the cars; they aren’t posing a big enough threat to the VW built Polizei Bentley!

The orange Ultima GTR has broken down.

Get a move on A&P!
