Basically DNA credit was overpaying, so the guy at CSG corrected it which screwed up boinc stats.

I think they got it right, as you see it shot up on the 25th may and got put back on the 2nd june , you can see the line would be pretty straight

It was planned to be in July but it also requires the points structure to be fixed and verified first. Please reference the post I made here: http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1041668672&postcount=29

So, basically waiting on Travis to say he is ready. The challenge will not be a last minute here it is announcement. There will be at least 2 weeks notice given.

I got a PM from Travis today

Testing new DNA@Home workunits now. Once things are looking good and credit is looking right then I'll put out a huge batch and we should be ready for a challenge!

Travis has also set all SubsetSum work units to fixed credit. My ARM devices are now about double the output in points that they were and my PC's are anywhere from a 50% bump to 300% more. Not sure if this is good or bad yet. But SubsetSum work units are all pretty much the same size, so fixed credit in general is certainly the way to go...

All DNA work is out right now. It seems like it was a very short batch. I also noticed someone already set up a CSG challenge for July 17-22nd. So, I'm sure there will be plenty taking a look at the testing...lol.

I won't know what dates will be used until Travis gives the official go ahead. So, whenever he is happy, it will be 2 weeks from then.

We won the last challenge pretty easily, within the first few days, I assume we aren't going to try too hard so that someone else can have the feel good factor ?

When I said someone else already set up a challenge, I meant outside of the Phase 2 challenge. So, the fixed credit testing is going to get a good running test before we stress test again.
