Nah it is not f2p until later down the road. You will have to pay to play it as EA.
Sounds like it is never going to take off then. I've had enough of early access games because most of the time they never make it to a decent stage.
It does seem a bit weird though that we are paying them to find the bugs/glitches for them Then after that everyone gets it for free.
Very true, I still remember the days when early access or beta access were usually applied for and then you had to submit system specs, sign NDS's etc but they were free (usually you were offered a discount on the full game as a reward) but it seems to be standard practice now to pay for all early access, some of the less honest developers are even cashing in on this by selling crap they never intend to finish just to get a quick buck from early access.
In fairness though look at the amount of games in development now compared to about 10 or 15 years ago and a lot of this funding comes from selling EA, so it does have a positive side.
Yeah I have a ton of EA games, some like Stomping Lands are abandoned already, but when you get games like Project Zomboid it shows how good EA can actually be. I don't mind paying into EA as long as other people have to pay as well when it hits the retail stage lol.
But yeah I remember those days you are talking about, it was hard to get into testing as well. But it was worth it as you say as you got a discount on the main product.

u still playing DayZ DG?
Tried breaking point and arma 3 just doesn't do it for me just feels clunky movement wise compared to arma 2 and I've tried to get on with it just don't enjoy it .
WUT?
A3 clunky compared to A2.... Never ever seen anyone say that before. Movement wise A3 is as smooth as a babies backside. Might be your PC needs upgrading?
also the devs are working on breaking point animations
