they also lose their license to sell halal meat (permanently i believe)If a butcher does prepare all the meat in the same area behind closed doors, and sells it a halal on the counter, what implications would he get if caught ?
As for the 'oh noes its cruel' brigade, you KNOW which way the meat has been killed based on the certification of the butcher/food outlet
If you cared that much you would go find out which ones kill it the old way and which ones stun them first
Personally i suspect a few people don't care about where it comes from and just wanted a chance to spout their anti-Islamic drivel.
. I just don't see the need for religious exemptions when the religion itself doesn't really see the need for it either.
